Just finished the HSR new update story, and I feel....i-It's complex idk how to explain it 😐

But one thing for sure....

FUCK YOU LYGUS (OR WHO EVER TF YOUR NAME IS)!!!!! 🖕🤬🖕

Although ngl the twist about him in the story is pretty good, I can't deny that.

For story side of judgement, I was ready to to lower my expectations at the beginning. But once again HSR didn't let me down 😌☕

In my opinion, they could improve on the animation movement in the dialogue outside the cut scene and this is my only problem and complaint since the beginning. It's not that bad, but it's getting kinda boring to see the same kind of animation set over and over again.

But other than that the lack of animation in the dialogue outside the cut scene, everything it's pretty good in my opinion 👍

Soo good that it left me in tears, damn it! 😭

And I salute to Caelus new English VA! 🫡

You did an amazing job voicing him in this update! Delivering the trailblazer emotion in his voice sends me into tears every time I hear the anger and hurt in Caelus' voice in the story.

I want to hug my hubby Caelus, damn it!!!😭 He had been through stuff nonstop with no break, even when he was supposed to have a vacation, he couldn't catch a break! (I'm talking about you Penacony (⁠눈⁠‸⁠눈⁠).) Experience death and then be revived, and now carrying the weight of being a Deliverer.... This story is making me want to just jump into the game and hug him (if you didn't know yet or if I haven't made it obvious, I'm attached to my trailblazer. How attached? Even more than how attached I am to Phainon. And I have an HSR account dedicated to Phainon.) I can't even say the reason why I want to love bomb him without spoiling the story 😭😭😭

Okay, back to the update, honestly, there are so many good things that I can talk about. The story is good, reach the expectations, although not as hyped as the previous but can still hold the candle to it 👍

And a... ahem, a surprise fan service (for guys mostly) I don't expect but welcome. (-///-). But for Cyrene moment I fully welcome it, it was a heartwarming moment that I was thankful that she is there for the TB to support them by their side. Both Cyrene are the anchors that keep TB grounded in this part of the story, and of course the other Chrysos heirs have played their parts in it too. (I won't say more than this, you go play through it yourself if you want to know more of the story (⁠눈⁠‸⁠눈⁠))

There's so many more I want to say, but.... There's no ending if I keep on going (⁠´⁠-⁠﹏⁠-⁠`⁠；⁠)

I feel that my relationship with Genshin is kinda toxic. Like, I want to stop playing because I feel drained playing it, and I feel my attachment to the character is slowly fading, but I can't help myself from reinstalling it for some reason.

A while ago, after I got Dahlia, I decided that I would quit Genshin for good (quit playing, I mean). No more reinstall, no matter how good the kit of the character is. I just lost interest that not even my favorite can convince me to come back, not to mention I don't really feel as attached. Not to mention that the GB to install it is getting bigger, and for that, I need to uninstall HSR. And for me, that is not worth it 😮‍💨

Just finished Honkai Star Rail x Fate collaboration story event and my honest opinion...

They should have come out before the 3.4 Amphorius story quest update or I should have started the colab story first then the main quest of 3.4 update 😓

I'm saying in the story impact side of view, and I'm not talking about the plot or whatnot. I'm talking about how the colab event story impact feels overshadowed by the main story.

I know it's just a side story event, but hear me out.

After going through the Amphorius 3.4 story, I feel the standard bar of storytelling, plot, and how they are presenting feels like it has been raised, so I might expect that the update in the future will be just like the 3.4 update or more.

Now, I'm not saying that the Fate Colab story is bad or something like that. I honestly found the story really good and interesting. And I would say it was a sorta a success. I don't really have any complaints about the overall collaboration event, other than the inevitable one, like a no English voice on some character. But, for some reason, the story doesn't feel as impactful.

And I think it's because the impact of the story was overshadowed by the 3.4 main story quests I finished not long ago. And let me tell you, the story isn't just left an impact, it left a gaping hole in my chest where my heart is, a scar, and a big chunk of depression (TvT)

My heart is bleeding still for Phainon Kaslana ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ

But as for the banner standpoint, Hoyo did right in releasing the colab event story after the 3.4 update. At first I was thinking of skipping his banner or just doing 3 to 5 ten pulls, but boy I'm glad that I didn't (TvT)

I'm pulling for Phainon not just because of his KIT, but I'm pulling him because I got attached to him ಥ⁠_⁠ಥ

So, honestly, there's a pro and a con in this. Also if you haven't gone through the 3.4 story, I advise you to do the Fate Colab story first. So that at least you can feel the impact more.

It's not that the Fate colab story doesn't have any impact, I just feel like it was overshadowed by the 3.4 main quest impact.

But hey, this is just my opinion on the story, you do you :3

Just came back from the second account, the skip button didn't exist in the past quests. I can't skip the story at all, I think the Skip button only exists on the new update quests in Amphorius (T-T)

A thought suddenly appeared in my head. I just finished the new update story quests of Amphorius and the Chrysos heirs golden blood got me thinking. (ngl, the golden blood trigger me a bit after the new update. And let me tell you the story it's pretty dark (⁠ ⁠；⁠∀⁠；⁠))

What if in the imposters SAGAU or SAGAU, the creator is actually a similar kind of being as a the Chrysos heirs?

I mean, think about it, the Chrysos heirs have literal golden blood, and from the SAGAU that I read, the creator usually has gold blood to differentiate the all-mighty creator and their mortal creation.

And since the idea that appears in my head might make this post more long that it had to be, I'll let you decide if you want to know my separate ideas of Imposters SAGAU and the SAGAU

I just finished HSR's new updates story quests, and I must say, they stepped up their plot writing to be better, in my opinion!

At first, I wasn't sure at the beginning of the Amphorius that I would like the story since ngl, at the beginning I wasn't as immersed as I was in the Penacony story. But boy, I am now fully immersed in Amphorius's story! Although the animation in the dialogue didn't really change, at least it's not an all black screen or white screen with just a dialogue or teks (^v^) and it made up with the cutscenes and the story.

Too bad that Dan Heng still didn't have a voice; if he does, it would be perfect (if we ignore the lack of animation). I also noticed the change in the voice actor of the Trailblazer, and honestly, I don't really mind. I wish the best for the new English VA, and I already see their great and promising work on voicing them, but I will miss Caleb Yen's work. He did amazing work as Caelus's voice (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠).

With HSR I imagine it was Sunday x creator/eon reader. It just give me that vibe you know.

As for GI... Honestly you can go with anyone if it's Genshin x creator reader.

In my opinion Genshin is more accepting when it came to Self Aware AU than the HSR. Mostly because every self aware au of HSR I read is that either they hate the creator or that the character are not really accepting (⁠´⁠-⁠﹏⁠-⁠`⁠；⁠). (But I do find some that are pretty good and the character are more accepting on Self Aware AU concept :D)

I recently tried playing a game called Tokyo Debunker out of curiosity.

Then, I meet this character....

You cannot tell me that, that wasn't Gojo Satoru from another universe. You can't change my mind on this!

The look, the way he speaks, his mannerisms, and his attitude!!! All of it reminds me of Gojo every time I encounter him in the story! (⁠ノ⁠ಠ⁠益⁠ಠ⁠)⁠ノ

It's pretty cool, but at the same time, it annoyed me that It seems I can't get away from Gojo look-alike every time I try something new (nothing wrong with the character, and I am not saying I hate them... They are just not my type (⁠´⁠-⁠﹏⁠-⁠`⁠；⁠). Gojo isn't really my type, but this professor is pretty chill in my opinion 👍)

My opinion on the game at the moment, it's just okay. I don't think that I will get attached to the boys anytime soon (since appearance-wise, they all have good-looking faces, but... None are my type, unfortunately, 😅), but I'm still new to the game, so who knows, maybe I will find the character that will pique my interest as the story progress.

So far the only character that I have good impression is Lucas Errant and Kaito Fuji.

And the bad impression (that I might try to avoid at the moment) is Romeo Lucci and Taiga. (Just to be clear, I don't hate them but... They both are like a red flag to me at the moment 😅)

But overall, it's kinda a pretty good game. Good story, the game itself isn't boring and I quite enjoy playing it.
