Did you know Milo was originally supposed to have a pet rat named Plato in the film? I’d like to imagine their relationship to be one of opposites, where Milo is kinda meek but Plato just bites everyone like a little asshole and causes problems for no good reason.

“Atlantis Found!”, Disney Magazine Summer 2001

The cover story for their Atlantis The Lost Empire issue, this article is pretty much excerpts from The Journal of Milo Thatch telling the story of the expedition, which I actually forgot ran throughout late October, starting on October 23rd, 1914 and arriving to Atlantis around the 26th. So it’s been about a month and a 100 years since the movie took place. I wish I caught this earlier.

Lot of production art was used for illustrating the book, so you got a bit of sampling from that here.

My immune system is trying to kill me and I feel like shit so as a treat I have drawn my OC Sasha's little sister. Her favorite color is yellow, she likes drawing on herself and calling it the drawings tattoos, and she got kicked out of every Scouts-like organization for being a menace because her mom is a politically active community leader and her older sibling is a queer witch in deep with occult stuff which mean's she's basically this kid. She also holds the dubious honor of the only human Eugene's sister Thalia genuinely enjoys spending time around.

I’m back with more of ponified Victoria Frankenstein, this time featuring Ygor! I thought it would be fun if he was a dragon rather than a pony. The duo of an elegant mare and a scrawny dragon is an odd sight to most, but it works. Plus he has hands, which is useful for working on projects.
