Walter White is just genuinely an evil man. Love how S1 gives him multiple outs through Gray Matter but he looks down upon it as "Charity" then S2 spends many occasions showing how evil he is, I view it less as a man changing and more of a darker side of the person, which has always been there, awakening and consuming him. Meanwhile, I believe in the genuine goodness of Kim Wexler as well as Jimmy McGill. They're good people driven to shitty outcomes through the piling up of events or coincidence but to say that it wasn't their fault Howard Hamlin died at their feet would be misconstruing the situation. I think the "Lighting Bolts Shoot From My Fingertips" scene + Kim knowing Lalo was alive both are at fault for what happened to Howie though it wasn't their intention for him to die. It definitely is a shitty thing to do when having double-standards against Kim when this universe has many morally worse characters however.

Walter White: Murders people in hot blood for 2 full seasons.

Audience: But I can still see where he's coming from.

Kim Wexler: Tries to defame a guy to get back the money he made by exploiting her labor; through a series of highly improbable coincidences he ends up bleeding out on her floor.

Audience: God what a bitch.

Funniest but also realest scene was when Jimmy looks at stressed out Howard in the bathroom and is like, "Hey, I have a therapist you could check out, they're pretty chill yk- not that you need it or anything-"

And then Howard goes, "I go to therapy twice a week."

And Jimmy looks at him like Are you sure about that...

Before Howard leaves and Jimmy starts fucking ripping up the card to the therapist. Like damn if Howard, bigshot, rich ass Howard goes to a fancy therapist twice a week and STILL looks like shit why the fuck should I go?

i will never get over how in this scene jimmy asks howard why he’s upset, because he genuinely can’t tell- he’s so emotionally unavailable when it comes to what happened with chuck that, when faced with someone who is very actively grieving him, jimmy can’t even connect the dots that it’s chucks death that’s making howard feel that way because he refuses to even think about it
