been a long time since my last music rant, so here's a post plugging the absurdly underrated artist Self Discovery lol

highkey MOSS is in my top few albums of all time rn lmao, everything off it is so fucking goodddddd and it only has like a couple thousand streams 😭

the rest of her discography is straight fire as well and it's wild that she only has around 700 monthly listeners, so do the world some good and give her the streams she deserves please lol <3 (genre is pretty much indie rock if you're interested)

Dunno why I'm deciding to keep my imaginary audience updated, but "Is There Really No Happiness?" is back on top now lmfao, and I'd say it's probably there to stay

While yes "Look at the Sky" is longer and has a more complete structure, it still has the minutest flaws, like a slightly cacophonous buildup to the final drop, and rather raspy vocals at times (which do wonders to the meaning and atmosphere but aren't as good to listen to as the absolute gorgeous vocals in ITRNH)

Meanwhile imo ITRNH, though I'd have asked for another minute or so of runtime, delivers it's aim literally absolutely flawlessly, which I don't think I could say for any other song ever lol

So yeah sorry for needlessly screaming into the void again lmao, but I feel like I might as well keep this thread fully updated :D

Like they're both literally godlike, but LatS just has a certain polish (and length lol) that ITRNH just falls short of - don't get me wrong tho, that first listen of ITRNH was a fucking religious experience holy fuck
