Since morning I have been tossed from one idea to another, trying to sketch everything. Here's a Corintheus for you, but I'm kind of confused by it, so just look at the mini Morpheus

hnnghh corinthian's design really was perfect to dream . he changed nothing about how he looked :)

also can someone give a reason on why dream was so tantalizingly half-naked for corinthian's resurrection . he was very much fully clothed 2 pages ago ????????? was my man trying to show off ????? ??

ah yes the two spectrums;

: politely existing (with the gait of a awkward little man tired of the bullshit thrown his way)

& ominously manspreading (while clasping hands to assert his power like a menace)

nightmares are meant to be feared, not wanted. repulsed, not held in awe. perhaps the corinthian embodies both, some wicked, pretty thing who desires attention and commands it.

but now he wishes to flee from it, even as pinned to the spot as he is. he trembles on his knees like a lamb before the slaughter, eyes-mouths biting their tongues as a thick river of blood drools over his cheeks in a caricature of human emotion. defiance escapes him, and he spills incessant babbles of i'm sorry and my lord please. oh, the corinthian begs so sweetly for forgiveness.

the tears, the misery, are less of a sight to marvel at, and more like a tragedy you cannot look away from. always violent, crude, inevitable, but no less captivating.

dream watches him, flitting through an alloy of fascination and placation like he's looking at something new, before he leans down, bends his waist just enough that his hand can skim the planes of the corinthian's cheek. he wipes away a speck of blood with his thumb, as if soothing an inconsolable child, before licking it with his tongue.

then, he tilts the corinthian's chin with more gentleness than he's ever offered, and presses a kiss to the ridge just above the eye-mouth. it feels like mercy, like redemption.

the blood turns to sand inside his mouth.

Does the Corinthian cry blood instead of tears😭

Edit ✍️ I know hes had been eating lol but I am asking literally what would come out of his eye mouths if he were to cry? Can he even cry? Would he have to bite his eye tongues till they bleed to cry? Or would he just be drooling everywhere????

Idk I think about Dream!Daniel making the Corinthian his own pair of eyes a lot sometimes so he doesn’t have to be a nightmare anymore or all the time if he doesn’t want to

hey wouldn't it be so delicious if shooting stars fall from dream's when he cries? that his tears are signs of a miracle? wouldn't it be super fun if the corinthian is the sole origin of dream's private grief?? that he weeps supernovas over him & the corinthian will never know because he has already been unmade????

imagine being the corinthian. like. yeah. you were created for your lord's attention and you got it, for a bit, and then he disappeared for years on end and then you get tired and go out to find him and then he does come back and the disappointment in morpheus's eyes absolutely kills you because he was finally back but it was only because you had done wrong and i think it must have been so sad to finally find the man you've been so scared of losing just to see that much disgust in his eyes and know that no matter what you did, you weren't his priority anymore and even if you were his masterpiece, there would be more than you, better than you, and you let the man you love who loved you so fucking much but was so fucking afraid of losing you unmake you and he does it so gently and sweetly and you don't feel any pain and the last thing you ever get to see is your lord's eyes filled with tears and the last thing you hear is that he's sorry he failed you and then he remakes you and there's still something off about he way he looks at you, and there's something cold in his touch and rushed in his voice and you're so fucking frustrated so once you finally corner him and demand answers he can't even look at you, can't look at those eyeteeth he spent so long admiring and creating and you ask him if he hates you now, if he hates this new you he created from the dust of the old and he says no, he says he loves you and that he can't hurt you the same way he had before and you would be crying, now, if you could as you tell him that he is hurting you, that ignoring you is hurting you, and those beautiful, beautiful eyes are filled with tears and you feel so goddamn awful and you just let your head drop and and he just watches and you're pretty sure he's disgusted, he's disappointed, but he just slowly, as if he's afraid to break you, wraps his arms around you and lets you rest your head on his shoulder and you can't breathe and he smells so good, he smells like home and you've been so fucking homesick and you promise him you'll behave this time and he just strokes your hair and tells you he never made you to play by the rules, anyway.
