Chaos and Courtship (1/?)
Now, what happens if Kalim tries to pursue Y/N without the help from Jamil?
It was already a big hurdle courting someone from a different culture, let alone from a different world.
Kalim was wandering in the school library. “Let’s see... Ah, here it is.” Pulling out the book, he sat down and started reading.
“There you are,” Jamil softly spoke. “I’ve been looking all over for you-- Are you... studying?” He couldn’t believe his eyes. There was a book in front of Kalim and he’s not sleeping? Peeking the contents of the book, he mentally slapped himself. Of course it’s not educational. “Why are you reading Romance 101?”
“I’ve decided I want to make Y/N my spouse,” he beamed, cheeks having a tint of pink.
“Then ask your father for the arrangement. Though, I doubt the prefect would easily agree,” he mumbled the last part.
“But that’s easy,” Kalim replied, making Jamil stumble back. Kalim? Not taking the easiest route? What sorcery is this?? “I want to prove I am worthy for them.”
Your family wealth is worthy enough, Jamil thought. “Why do you think that?”
“I want to be the knight in shinning armor this time,” he smiled, making the librarian shooting him a glare.
“...what?”
“They’re always the one saving me. The time where you overblotted, Vil’s overblotted, them handing me a tissue when we lost at DVC,” he spoke quieter at the last. “It... doesn’t look manly.”
“I’m pretty sure the prefect doesn’t think that way--”
“I’m done,” Kalim slammed the book shut.
“And where are you going?”
“To the Ramshackle.” Jamil knew this wouldn’t end well. “You don’t have to follow me this time, Jamil. I can handle myself!” Yeah, this definitely won’t end well.
A guitar. The instrument alone is enough of an answer to know what Kalim is planning. The first strum of the strings was a dead giveaway. It’s not even tuned!!
He could barely hear it from the distance, but the occasional squeaking of Kalim’s voice was evident. Jamil peeked from the bushes when he heard the door open.
“Fngaaah!! What’s making all that racket?! Did a horse got away from the equestrian club?” It was Grim. “Eh? Kalim?”
“Where’s the prefect?” “Where’s the horse?”
Both asked simultaneously it made Jamil face-palmed. It didn’t took long before Kalim lowered his head and walked away from Ramshackle.
“So... uh, how was it?” Jamil was contemplating on pulling out the coconut juice from his pocket. Dealing with a happy Kalim is already a headache, but a mopey Kalim might not sound so bad once it a while.
“The prefect wasn’t there. Grim said they took a walk with Tsunotaro.” Who’s Tsunotaro?
“That’s too bad--” “Which is great!”
“Great?”
“This means I’ll have time to make a new song with Lilia and Cater!” Oh no. The last time Jamil checked the Pop Music Club, he had to dive to save the golden drums Kalim bought from Lilia’s... performance.
“This is gonna be fun!”
“This is gonna be hell...” he sighed.

Heya, this is my first time writing so im sorry if i do this wrong but im obsessed with your account!
I'm not sure if you're even accepting requests, if not feel free to ignore this
Could I request the Azul reacting to y/n (!fem or !gn) passing out from their eating disorder?
In which Azul is worried sick about fem!Y/N
TW: ED (anorexia)
Worry was an understatement. Azul, the busy man he is, knew that Y/N wasn't handling the results of her exams very well.
She hasn't been eating well since she found out the result to the point that her cheeks were getting hollow and she wasn't even surviving gym class.
"Y/N, dear, would you like to be the taste tester for Mostro's new menu?" It was another one of his tricks to make her eat even for just a little bit. "It shall be made by yours truly-- For free!"
The thought of free food made her stomach grumble. Perhaps the punishment was enough since she wasn't able to get in the top 50?
"No, thank you, Azul. I've been having stomach problems lately."
"Perhaps a snack would help," the dorm leader suggested. "I read that human stomachs aren't resilient--"
"I'm gonna be late for gym class, see ya," she softly planted a kiss on his cheeks before running away.
Pushing up his glasses, he noticed the heartslabyul duo following behind. "Ace. Deuce." He called out. He could've sworn their souls left their bodies.
"Y-Yes!" Deuce quivered.
"Keep an eye on Y/N for me. That Vargas can be unforgiving," he sighed. "I don't have to say what might happen if you don't, now do I?"
"No, Azul-senpai," they quickly answered.
"Good."
“Azul...” She’s not keeping up with the rest, Azul thought, watching Y/N run on the other side of the field.
“Azul.” And to think it’s almost lunchtime.
“Azul!” Maybe this time, I could persuade--
“AZUL!!” The dorm leader jumped, only to see Jamil gripping his broom threateningly.
He cleared his throat before adjusting his glasses. “Must you yell?”
“You’re not even listening in the first place!” Jamil huffed. “What are you looking at anyway?” It didn’t take long when both students looked at the other side of the field to see Y/N.
“I have my reasons,” Azul immediately replied.
“Of course, you do. Now fly.”
Turning his back, Azul tried to focus on floating than seeing the flushed face of Y/N. Though he can’t help but feel something wrong.
“Prefect!” A scream echoed in the field. All class that was within range turned their heads to the group of first years.
Azul’s heart dropped at the sight of Y/N motionless on the ground. Dropping his broom, he ran as fast as he can, eyes not leaving Y/N even when her classmates crowded her.
“Y/N!” Azul yelled.
“Call Coach Vargas!” Deuce ordered. Every noise drowned out when he finally reached her. Azul's tears were threatening to fall when he couldn’t stop his hands from shaking after seeing Y/N’s ghostly pale face. She wasn’t responding to any of his calls.
Big muscular arms scooped the prefect from the ground. “Ashengrotto, watch this class for me.”
“But sir--”
“I can look after these first years, Coach,” Jamil answered. Azul didn’t realize it when he got here. “Go,” he muttered.
The infirmary never felt so far. The moment they arrived, Azul quickly informed the school nurse what happened. Vargas left after a while to come back to class, but Azul stayed, even when the lunch bell already rang. He was waiting for Y/N to wake up.
And she did.
Azul wanted to say everything. He wanted to nag how foolish she has been, how she pushed herself too far, how he could've helped.
"Why?" his tone was gentle. Seeing the tears building up in her eyes, he couldn't be angry.
"I failed..." she cried. "I failed all my exams and--and I thought I don't deserve to eat--"
"You did well enough to reach the passing scores." He gently held her hand. "Achieving that in this school from a world you don't know is amazing enough."
Y/N was about to open her mouth when she felt his grip tighten. "I don't know what resulted in this, but I will certainly not allow you to punish yourself by abstaining from eating. Not while I'm here."
Silence enveloped the room. Y/N found herself in Azul's chest as he ran his fingers in her hair in hopes of calming her down. "If the pressure's too much, call for me. I'll come no matter what."

In which people fawn over Leona, much to Y/N's dismay
The day for the Magift Tournament came again. People from all over Twisted Wonderland were coming nonstop to NRC.
Y/N was sitting on the bleachers, watching intently as their boyfriend moves like a beast in the game. "Let's go Savanaclaw!!" they cheered.
The game was close, only one more point till either side will win. Diasomnia was still a formidable team without Malleus but there was one shining MVP in the game.
"Go Leona!!" they cheered as Leona manage to snatch the disc from the hands of a diasomnia student and ran to the goal.
Defense and attack magic started shooting left and right but Leona manage to dodge each of them. In a second, the crowd grew silent, before bursting into a loud cheer.
"The champion of this year's magift tournament is--" the emcee boomed. "SAVANACLAAAAW!!"
In amidst of celebrating with his team, Leona caught Y/N's eyes. Even if they were too far to hear it, they knew. "I did it!" he mouthed.
Standing up from their seat, Y/N quickly made their way to the field. Leona left his team and met them halfway.
Till a mob of press separated the two. Bombarding him with questions and camera flashes that he lost sight of them. Each time Y/N calls them, a paparazzi's voice would be louder, asking a question.
They had to step back. It was one of the rare times where Leona would get the recognition he deserves so they went back to their seat, waving to make sure they were ok.
Both made a mental note to meet later.
Till a towel landed on Leona's face, with a delicate hand wiping away his sweat.
Among the press, few people were offering their gifts to Leona. Towels, water bottles, t-shirts, and more.
Leona was annoyed, but he knew better than to snap at a girl in front of a camera. A small, "thanks," before snatching the towel from her hand was enough. For him.
Everybody was leaving. There were only a few people interviewing the winning team so Y/N thought it was time their time to celebrate. Leona saw them walking closer so he ended the questions quickly as he made his way to them--
Only to be blocked again.
"Congratulations on winning, Leona Kingscholar-senpai!" one of them cheered. It was a loud and high pitch, Leona's ear twitched slightly before thanking them.
"This is for you," another one offered a small towel. "I made it!"
Thanking them, another one pulled him closer, quickly taking a picture. "KYAAAAAAH! He's so handsome!!" He's right there.
Another tired, "thanks." Leona saw the prefect chuckling at his demise.
The last one couldn't control her happiness. She pulled out her phone once again, ready to take a picture. Leona noticed and readied himself for the flash--
Till he was pulled by the collar and was kissed on the cheek.
Oh.
Oh.
OH.
Thankfully, Ruggie was there to shoo them off. Though annoyed, Leona never felt so much fear.
They saw it.
The prefect was standing a few feet away from them. No words were exchanged as Leona made his way past the girls, cupping Y/N's cheeks before pulling them in a sweet kiss.
A smile formed on his lips before being pulled again into a kiss. This time, he noticed that Y/N was looking at the girl dead in the eye.
"Oi," Leona called out. But deep inside, he was happy. It was their own way of marking their territory and he loved it. "Have some decency, herbivore."
"Watch your mouth, Kingscholar. Don't think you can get away with this," they glared.
"It's not even my fault," he sighed. Pulling them by the waist, they made their way out of the coliseum. "I won, so I guess you won't force me to eat vegetables again."
"After seeing that thing all over your face? Deals off. Vegetables. Each meal. Every day."

Monster
In which Lilia overheard Y/N singing. Inspired by Adventure Time’s song “Monster.”
"I know we'll never grow old together," he heard a faint singing as he arrive at the Ramshackle Dorm. "'Cause, you'll never grow old to me."
Looking through the window even if he was still far away, he could see the prefect cleaning up. "You're the pink in my cheeks and I'm scared that it means I'm a little bit soft..."
They were singing mindlessly, but as he got closer, the clearer the lyrics get. The more painful they turn as well.
"But don't beat yourself up for me," they continue to sing. "It wasn't just the sun that I was hiding from."
He was standing at the door. Should he knock and interrupt their singing? Leave the invitation? The more he hesitates, the more his heart tear.
"I've always felt like a monster long before I was bit." The voice was getting closer. "But only seen as a monster, let's just say I'm used to it-- Lilia?" Y/N dropped the bag of trash, smiling more brightly than ever as they lean for a hug. "You're here! Why didn't you tell me?"
He mustered all the courage to fake a smile. "Fufu, and here I was planning to spook you, dear."
Despite seeing each other, much to Sebek's dismay, Y/N still has no idea about Lilia's history. They could only know anything about Lilia from Silver and Malleus' stories. And despite how innocent and playful he seems to be, Lilia knows he could never remove the blood on his hands. Blood from foes, to innocent war victims, to even his comrades.
Being surrounded by young boys, mostly sheltered and pampered since birth, every day is a reminder of the demonic commander he used to be years ago.
Until he met them...
The first magicless person to ever enroll in Night Raven College. The first and possibly last person who manages to catch his heart. One in a centillion, he would say.
He always thought they were his karma. When he finally found someone he'd want to spend the rest of his life with, they were fleeting. No one knows when they'll go back from their world, or when death will take them away. For the first time in his life, he felt weak.
But until then, he'll cherish every moment with them.
Y/N chuckled. "Did you miss me that much?" He didn't realize that his hug grew tighter than expected.
"Oh, my apologies."
"So what brings you here?"
Ah, I almost forgot, he thought. Pulling out a black envelope, he handed it to them. "Briar Valley will have a festival during spring break, would you like to come?"
"As a schoolmate?" Y/N took it from his hands. Remembering it was a place run by magic, who knows how many residences will be like Sebek? Magicless-human-hating faes.
"As my wife," he winked, earning a soft slap on the face with the invitation, making him chuckle at the prefect's red face.
"Then you better do your job and keep me safe there, my cute husband," Y/N replied, their turn to laugh at Lilia's blushing cheeks.

Rest and Rest
Soft Azul x Sick!Reader. Do fishes even get fevers?
Everybody knows that no one in Twisted Wonderland can make Azul stop from working, not even the Leech twins can pry him off of work.
Jade's habit of initiating a conversation when he's focusing on something? Floyd's using the VIP room to nap? They'll get punished, but it won't stop Azul from filling out papers after papers. A cane hitting a pair of eels, though.
"Time is money," he always says.
So why is he in the common room of Ramshackle, when Mostro Lounge is at its busiest hour?
"Help!" Grim panicked. "My minion will melt!!" The small monster barged inside the lounge and went straight to Azul. Great Sevens knows how many brain cells Grim has left, but he knows better than to just wander and make a scene inside, knowing what they're capable of putting him through.
"Huh? Shrimpy will melt?"
Much to Jade's surprise, Azul immediately followed the monster. "Jade, hold down the fort for a while."
"Oya, not even making Grim-san here explain why the prefect is melting?" he grinned, amused at the sight. He's seen Azul focus before, but never this intense.
Azul ignored his assistant's comment and went straight to Grim. "Where are they?"
As cold-blooded as he is, literally, the moment Azul placed an ungloved hand on the prefect’s forehead, he was sure it was hot enough to fry an egg. Fever was still confusing to him, but thank the great sevens for Crewel’s class teaching him a few side effects of the potion.
He panicked. “You could have a seizure any moment! Grim, get me a damp towel now!” The tone in his voice would send even the ghost looking for a towel and rushing to the bathroom. Azul immediately pulled off the covers, making the sleeping prefect flinch.
“C-Cold...”
“Please endure it, my dear. It’s for your own good.” He removed his other glove when Grim came back with a dripping towel. Placing it on their forehead after wringing it, Y/N’s eyes finally open.
“I... Azul?” they asked softly. “What are you doing here? What time is it?”
“Don’t move too much,” he secured the towel on their head when they tried to get up. “I believe it is 7 in the evening. Have you eaten yet?”
They weakly shook their head. Azul couldn’t leave them alone, knowing their temperature is still too high for a human, but he couldn’t call Jade over either. The headmage? No. Instructing Grim to cook? Definitely not. The last time he held dishes he almost broke every plate in the Lounge.
“I’ll be fine,” the prefect reassured. “I just need to sleep it off.”
“You said that yesterday and look at you now,” he scolded. “Must you always put yourself in danger? Who knows what could’ve happened if Grim wasn’t by your side? And why couldn’t you bother to call me?” He rambled, but slowly calmed himself down. Now’s not the time, Azul. Focus.
“Because you’re busiest when it’s the weekend,” they replied. “I didn’t want to be a burden...”
“Nonsense,” he said, already dialing a number. “Even my mother hold off work when I was sick, this is no different.” A blush immediately crept to his face. Luckily, someone picked up from the other end. “Floyd, have someone deliver a clam soup and a herbal tea to Ramshackle dorm this instant.”
“Eh? But I’m busy--”
“Now.”

Birthday Wish
Inspired by Azul's Union Birthday Voiceline.
Luck was something Azul hated, but it was the only thing he could hold onto. No matter how much he calculated every possibility and prepared for any outcome, it was never on his side.
He considered himself unlucky for being born with a chubby, ink-spewing sluggish body, and being the target of bullying. He was unlucky to have his parents separated at a young age. He was unlucky to deal with another hindrance despite planning on taking the old Ramshackle dorm to be the next branch of Mostro Lounge since his first year.
Yet, he doesn't mind. There was some instance for which he was still thankful.
His past may still haunt him, but his busy schedule wouldn't allow him to wallow in self-pity anymore. His stepfather showed him the ways around any tricky contracts and rules. And the recent "unlucky event" as he calls it...
"You'll celebrate with me next year as well, won't you?" He chuckled as soon as the prefect smiled an immediate "Of course, I will!" made his heart beat faster than he expected.
Who knew, the only magicless human to ever enter the prestigious NIght Raven College as a student would hold a special place in his heart. The only one he felt where he does not need to hide his octopus form.
"Please don't forget that promise," he replied, taking the gift from their hands.
"Oya, I've been searching for you, but it is unexpected to find you here, Azul," Jade's smooth voice broke the silence.
"It has been a year, hasn't it?"
"Perhaps." Both returned to observe the old Ramshackle dorm. "Blowing a candle is rather befitting to make a wish rather than looking at old piles of woods."
"I'm not making a wish," he replied. "I'm waiting for someone who should fulfill their part of the promise."
If he could, he would make a deal with destiny. If he could, he would find a way for Y/N to return home, but also has a way to come back to Twisted Wonderland. To NRC. To him.
Luck was something Azul hated, but it was the only thing he could hold onto. No matter how much he calculated every possibility and prepared for any outcome, it was never on his side.

In which Y/N chills with Idia in discord
It was a peaceful night. Y/N was surfing the web for articles about jumping from one world to another in hopes of finding their way home. Idia was somehow keeping them company in Discord. It was his little brother’s idea to look for alternative ways other than magic and wait for Crowley to actually do his job.
“Kimi ga nagamete iru,” Y/N sang softly. She didn’t want disturbing Grim in his sleep, knowing he’d demand food as compensation.
“Minamo wa azayaka ni kirameki,” Idia continued. It was barely audible, but thank the great sevens for the quiet night.
“Sukoshi zutsu iro wo kaete,” Y/N sang again. This time, Idia joined them at the end. “Hikari tsuzuketeru.”
Just like the song, both tried to stop laughing while singing. It didn’t even matter if they were off-key, or just making up words when they don’t know a few words. For a moment, Ortho wished he was equipped with a recording device, seeing his brother smile and laugh genuinely when he’s not gaming.
Y/N was laughing when the song ended before sobbing. “Minato nooo!”
To make things worse, or better, Idia placed his mic closer to his mouth. “This message is from Minato Hinageshi to Hinako Mikaimizu.”
“NO!”
“Hinako, Merry Christmas!”
“Idia, I swear I will barge into your room--”
“Let's spend every Christmas together from now on and forever and ever and ever.” He adds more drama afterward, “and ever,” before mischievously smiling as he heard Y/N wailing.
“Oi minion! Stop being noisy!!” Grim shouted.
A quiet “I hate you,” was heard before he replied with a sarcastic “GG.”
“Impressive for a normie,” Idia smirked. “Didn’t expect you to know that song.”
“I didn’t expect you to watch romance anime either,” Y/N replied.
“Hey, I accept and watch all genres,” Idia grumbled. “It’s just Mecha supremacy.”
“You mean fanservice supremacy.” If it was a video call, Idia was sure Y/N was sticking their tongue out. “Anyway, I gotta go.”
“Weak,” Idia typed. He wouldn’t admit it, but he was a bit upset Y/N has to go. It just turned midnight. That’s like, the peak of the day. “No luck again?”
“No,” they sighed. “There’s a lot in fanfics and isekai, but real news-- nawp.”
Idia still couldn’t believe the time when he got teased about how he wished he was isekai’d like Y/N. He retorted with them arriving in a trash world like Twisted Wonderland.
The memory made him smile. Guess that’s how he ended up chilling with this normie. Or abnormie as he calls them.
Y/N logged off before he could verbally say goodbye. He knew they did it to make it less awkward. Idia was about to hop to another server before noticing an unread message.
“You found me - Menma.”

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!”
