Mamoru was relaxing outside while drinking tea when she had approached him. He nearly choked on his tea upon hearing what she said. He wasn’t prepared for such a surprise from her. After a moment of collecting himself, a smile formed on his face.

“Is that so? I’m proud of you.”

After a rare day of Omi being away from the citadel on her own, she finally made it back. Being on her own was incredibly stressful, and having to be around and also talk to strangers was even more so, but it was necessary for what she had to do.

“Mamoru!” she exclaimed as she ran over to her older brother. “I just got home. I got my last name changed. I’m an Amano now, just like you and Yuji.”
