Hello! It’s me again! It’s been a while, I know. But I’ve been thinking things over for a little while.

What do people think of a cringefail tournament reboot?And if so, what do people think of expanding the contestants to characters from other franchises via submissions? I’ve been thinking about doing that for a while, but now’s a good a time as any to see if people want it.

Still, there’s something so cringefail about getting to the very end and losing. So we will be giving the runner-up his flowers as well!

Congratulations to Mondo and his second place! He will be adding this to his ever increasing list of losses!

Because here at the SHSL Cringefail Tournament, the winner is a loser, and every loser is a winner! Those are the kinds of semantics we have to deal with by making a “who’s the biggest loser” competition.

For people bummed that Kiyotaka or Yasuhiro didn’t get to make it to the final, don’t worry! They both have the chance to get 3rd place in the Consolation Final Match! This will go up tomorrow, and will serve as a slight breather before our actual final match.

even MORE propaganda about hagakure because im mental about him; he literally failed school like 4 times and still hasn’t managed to graduate (obviously because of the tragedy but let’s be so fr rn would he of graduated if it weren’t for it?) he failed!!!! school!! also i don’t even need to explain why he’s cringe it’s literally just common sense. the sky is blue the grass is green and hagakure yasuhiro ultimate clairvoyant is failcringe

I love Kiyotaka so much but Kazuichi is THE cringiest failboy in Danganronpa.

He outwardly simps for Sonia, which makes her and everyone else uncomfortable (especially when it's revealed he's a masochist and begged her to berate him during a trial). His romantic rival is Gundham Tanaka - a dude who breeds hamsters and roleplays being a Supreme Overlord of Ice - and didn't stand a chance. He's an utter coward the entire game. I can't stop thinking about that cutscene where he blows up and gets flung across the room, he looks so pathetic.

Taka fits into the "fail" category, I agree! But Kazuichi OWNS the "cringe" category.

Here’s my Mondo propaganda.

Mondo died because he was turned into butter by a robotic teddy bear in a trial for a murder he committed completely unintentionally. In the trial, not only did he draw suspicions onto himself when there initially wasn’t enough evidence to prove it was him because he said something he shouldn’t have, but he was also doomed to not get away with it before the trial even started because Byakuya saw him switching the crime scenes and Mondo didn’t even realize it!

And while yes, Hiro is very cringefail, he at least survived the killing game. Also during the killing game, one of Hiro’s predictions came true (2 if you count the bad ending in Chapter 5). In the beginning of Chapter 4 Hiro predicted that there won’t be any more murders, which is true because after Chapter 3 no one is actually murdered. Also if you do count the bad ending, Hina ends up having kids with everyone, which proves his prediction that his and Makoto’s kids would have the same mom in one of his free time events.

I should say something for Taka and Mondo to win, butyou know what would be the most cringe thing that can happen to bothof them ???

Not making it till the final.

I think they deserve first place but let's say that i 'm pleased with where they are ! I'm just sad to not see all the fanart that would pop up if they winned.

Not propaganda but hey. I do agree that they get some more cringefail points if they make it this far and lose. Only fitting of two lame guys.

And fan art is still appreciated, even if they don’t make it all the way. Also, not to spoil, but to the people who were excited for a Kiyotaka vs Mondo showdown, don’t lose hope just yet.

Something may or may not pop up later based on who makes it to the finale and who doesn’t.

Heres some propaganda that supports the belief that hagakure is in fact both cringe AND fail because i feel he does demonstrate both traits:

one of the main aspects of hagakures character that separates him from the others is that while the general opinion is that the majority of the characters that made it to further chapters or survived did have character development, hagakures case is that his personality actually got worse (based on a comment by aoi, the scene being along the lines of aoi testing his sanity and asking him a simple math question, in which he goes on a rant and FAILS to answer correctly 💀💀)

the only arguably progressive thing hagakure has done (more so said) was his little speech at the end of thh about moving forward, which he actually FAILED to act on. In UDH, the whole plot is him attempting to steal something from towa city (WHICH RESULTS IN A WHOLE ASS HELICOPTER FILLED WITH HIS COLLEAGUES TO EXPLODE SIMPLY BECAUSE HE DECIDED TO FAKE SICK) to resolve his debt which he still hasnt managed to get over and getting into a whole load of trouble, relying on a highschooler to continuously save his ass, and then concluding the novel by chasing after nakajima in an attempt to continue his journey to squeeze money out of her, therefore FAILING to uphold his words in THH about moving forward and FAILING to do his job as a FF worker too (i will however give him credit for saving her, even tho it was only once)

also, i feel its alittle bit weird that people are calling the characters that were murdered failures simply for dying? like everyone dies, and its especially weird that people are saying taka is a failure for dying as a victim, idk it just doesnt make that much sense to me, what does make sense tho is calling hagakure a failure despite the fact hes still alive, he has the privilege of life but the only reason he IS alive is because he relied on some bloody highschoolers to literally do everything, and he spend his life amounting to absolutely nothing as he's NOT good at his job (both of them, being a fortune teller and a ff worker (and i mean hes not good at getting customers hes an ok clairvoyant)), his personality is horrendous and only got worse, and hes basically failed so much that people dont even see it as failure and more as a personality trait because he does it so often

anyways heres some hagakure cringefail facts if you didnt wanna read all of that (all canon btw):

he washes his hair with fabric softener

he wears a haramaki cuz he thinks a god will steal his belly button

he only showers 4 times a year

got scammed into buying his weird underwear

got scammed into buying like a bunch of expensive "crystal" balls at different times, basically falling for the same scam on a daily basis (because he manages to break them on a daily basis)

got sued by what is implied to be one of his ex girlfriends, but could be just any random girl (this is one of the many lawsuits against him)

there's more but i can't remember them all, feel free to reach out to me for proof btw but it might take a few hours for me to find them because i have. alot
