Studying the Neuschwanstein Genetics
Speaking of features, I think it's so cool how the four children inherited different features from not only Johannes and Alicia, but also their other relatives. I feel like it's something you don't see often in manga/manhwa where children are usually a 5:5 hybrid of their parents.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Parents
Johannes: Straight light blonde hair, thick straight brows, straight nose, narrow eyes, large green irises, angular face
Alicia: Straight red hair, thin straight brows, pointed nose, almond eyes, large green irises, rounded face
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Children (face shape, nose shape and eye size may change with age)
Jeremy: Wavy golden hair, thin arched brows, pointed nose, narrow eyes, small green irises, sharp face
Elias: Straight red hair, thin arched brows, pointed nose, narrow eyes, small green irises, round face
Rachel: Wavy light blonde hair, round brows, pointed nose, almond eyes, large green irises (Rachel's eyes often turn small during comedic moments so it's hard to tell. We will be using her formal art and her twin as a reference), round face
Leon: Wavy light blonde hair, round brows, pointed nose, almond eyes, large green irises, round face
You may be wondering where the golden hair and narrow eyes swooped in from. I'll be showing some more relatives below!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Johannes' siblings
Mueller: Wavy golden hair, straight brows, pointed nose, narrow downturned eyes, small green irises, angular face
Penceler: Straight light blonde hair, short brows, pointed nose, hooded eyes, small irises, sharp face
Friedrich: Wavy black hair, short brows, long hooked nose, deep set eyes, large irises, angular narrow face (he's such an anomaly, but it's pretty realistic considering I think we all know someone in our family that doesn't resemble anybody)
Lucretia: Wavy golden hair, short brows, button nose, downturned eyes, large green irises, round face
Valentino: Wavy golden hair, round eyebrows, straight nose, pointed eyes, small green irises, sharp face
We can assume that Jeremy's wavy golden hair was passed down by a Neuschwanstein ancestor. As well as the small iris, wavy hair, and round brow genes we see in the twins.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alicia's Family
Hermann: Straight red hair, thin straight brows, straight nose, almond eyes, large green irises, round face
Rosemary: grey hair, thin arched brows, downturned nose, almond eyes, narrow eyes, small green irises, round face (her features may be a result of aging)
While it's obvious that Elias is almost a clone of his uncle Hermann, I think it'll be interesting to see how he grows into his features so that we can see the small differences.

Help a Family in Need💔
I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Mohamad S., who is facing one of the most challenging times of his life. Mohamad is 37 years old and left his homeland in 2015 in search of a safer and better future. He’s a kind, hardworking man, and his small family has always been his greatest priority.
Living abroad, Mohamad has recently endured unimaginable loss and financial strain. Amidst the ongoing conflict in his homeland, his mother passed away, leaving behind his sister and her five young children—the last remaining members of his immediate family.
As the situation worsened, Mohamad managed to help his sister and her children escape to safety in Egypt, covering their immediate needs and securing a temporary refuge for them. Since then, he has been fully responsible for providing everything they need to survive during this transition.
In his efforts to support his family and cope with this devastating loss, Mohamad has found himself deeply in debt. To make matters even more difficult, he recently underwent knee surgery, which limits his ability to return to work for the foreseeable future. This has made it even harder for him to manage his financial responsibilities and the pressing need to provide his family with a stable future.
Mohamad is now working to bring his sister and her five children to join him in Belgium, where he hopes they can find stability and opportunity after all they’ve endured. This transition, however, requires significant resources that he is currently unable to meet alone.
For privacy reasons, we are not sharing Mohamad’s full name, as he has chosen to keep his identity discreet. While he initially refused the idea of asking for help, I couldn’t stand by and watch him struggle alone. I insisted on doing this for him because he deserves a chance to overcome these challenges.
Your contribution will help Mohamad repay the debt incurred during this difficult time, cover ongoing living expenses for his family, and assist with the costs involved in bringing them safely to Belgium.
Mohamad has been a good friend of mine for years, and I’ve always admired his resilience and generosity. Any support, no matter the size, will make an incredible difference in helping Mohamad and his family rebuild their lives after these painful experiences.
Thank you for reading his story and considering helping a man who has always done everything he can for his loved ones.

Some random NanDitha snippets that came to my mind....
She was vaguely aware of being dragged away from her Aditha...she knew she was trying to scream but she could not hear herself...her ears were ringing with his sweet whispers when he used to take her out for the horserides and how desperately he had asked her to kill him. The sound of his body hitting the ground was too loud. Her throat burnt with her silent scream.
She crashed to the floor of her chamber. She looked down at her shaking hands...she wiped them on her clothes till her skin was raw...the blood won't go. The memories of the red kumkum on the thaali she used for her pujas all those years ago seemed to mock her. She wiped some more...then some more...his blood won't go. The weight of Aditha's lifeless body feels too heavy against her body.
She walked into the river slowly...she can hear strains of a familiar tune...Aazhi Mazhai Kanna...the water feels the same...the same cooling welcoming waves. The river seems to be lifting the weight of his death off her shoulders. The water touches her hands. Why does it feel like his touch? The water is now upto her shoulder...and she is slowly engulfed by the river as if it is her Aditha's embrace. At last. At long last.
I don't know if they are any good. They just randomly came to my mind while listening to Chinnanjiru Nilave (Marumurai). And I haven't written anything in a long time. I don't even know if I could get the characters right. I haven't read or watched the movies lol. @nirmohi-premika @nspwriteups @thatacademic @thelekhikawrites @whippersnappersbookworm @vibishalakshman you people might like this?

Idk what this is y'all? First time fanfic writer's overenthusiasm?
A Matter of Chance -3
Her mind unconsciously chanted
"You?"
"is it truly you?"
"You!?!!!! "
She berated herself for hallucinating thus. She hated herself for hoping to see him – after the humiliation dealt to her by his family. She was furious that he never sought her out.
She deplored him for loving her back, giving her attention that caused her present downfall.
He noticed the standing figure , eyes widening in recognition. Firm steps brought him closer to her frozen form.
Her heart rate spiked. " Oh no, he's moving closer- he's real isn't he?"
Beads of sweat poured from her face and back ……. He was here! After so long ! He stood right in front
Her mouth wordlessly gasped and closed “I.. uh.. you” but mercifully these sounds remained inaudible.
His eyes drank her in like a starved man…. What was that flickering across his eyes? Sadness? Guilt? Love? Or lust? They disappeared just as quickly and she was left wondering
“Nandini?” said his tentative voice. Nandini panicked but her pride refused to relent. She didn’t know where to look but gulped, “Your Highness “.
A smile slowly broke out on his battle worn visage, “Good God, all these years of searching and I’ve finally….”
“A futile search that might as well never have happened “, came the reply- it’s cold tone shocking the speaker herself.
“Don’t step any closer, your highness. You have no business here”
His nervous eyes flickered behind her before returning.
“I am visiting the temple” challenged aditha, desperate to remain in her presence .
“The early morning prayers ended hours ago and there are several hours for the evening Pooja to begin” she coolly retorted, forcing herself to focus on the waterpots.
“Well, I merely enjoy the tranquility that temples offer” he refused to give up
“Like the constant temple visits you made in Pazhayarai as a teenager?” she challenged. “Tell me sire were your prayers fulfilled?”
He inhaled deeply and his eyes clouded
“I didn’t realize the importance of a certain wish, till it was left unfulfilled” he mournfully looked at her.
She was rendered silent. Her face hardened and she began
“This unfulfilled wish of yours has caused me enough trouble m’lord. I’m afraid I have nothing more, should you make another wish” was all she could muster.
He could see her side. Every time he was reminded of how much greater her loss was, he felt selfish pursuing her..
Aditha left after her polite admonishments. His head swirled. He wanted nothing more than to embrace her- he’d finally found her!
He wished to reassure her that this time – they will not be parted. That they may be safe in each other’s company and look forward to a future.
He knew he had to placate her. But for now, a good soldier knows when to retreat.

SO, here are my observations from ponniyin selvan.
-Vikram perfectly fit the role of Aditha Karikalan as a warrior who has been through a lot of struggle and has a lot of anger inside of him.
-I was a little skeptical about jayam ravi as arunmozhi before watching the film but boy was I wrong. I mean there's such a difference between Aditha and Arunmozhi as people. Arunmozhi Varman is a little more level headed and calm.
-Don't even know where to begin. I think he's easily everybody's favorite in the film. Karthi has done the rold really well. Like vanthiyadevan is charming and witty and soo likable. His journey and his scenes with nambi(jayaram) was like just😭.
- Jayaram was hilarious. Loved him in the film😭
-Vanthiyadevan and semba(his horse) 😍
-With the very little screen time that Kundavai was given, I think who she was as a person was satisfactorily conveyed. Her intelligence. And Oh my god her beauty. Anddd the bgm that plays when vanthiyadevan and kundavai meet is just🤌😩
-Another little observation I made is that rahman's role as maduranthakan was also good. Like from looking at him, just the way he is and how he behaves, I see a man who wants power and hides behind other people to fight for him. Totally gave me a weak man vibe.
-My god Nandhini though. I understood and noticed the little nuances in her character so much better the second time. She's cunning, manipulative and so damn smart. She's got her husband just wrapped around her little finger. There's this scene where we're shown her cunning side for the first time. Might be insignificant but it really stuck with me. It's when she meets vanthiyadevan in her palace. She subtly let's him know that he could take his kingdom back if he wanted. Like it shows her cunning mind. And the fact that she's so calm and her eyes say so much, it all just amplifies her complexities. Aishwarya Rai oh my god.
-I loved how the movie was so plot driven. Like period films usually are more about entertainment. This wasn't like that. It was about the characters and the plot. Like you really have to pay attention. It's one of those movies that you understand better as you watch it again and again.

Vēṭkai (Part -2)
Tumblr media
Third Person POV
’Children, please stop running’ a soft voice said to the hyperactive kids making their parents reach old age very quickly.
’Arun! Kundavai! listen to your mother!’ a strong voice shouted at his beloved kids who froze in their spot and giggled at their father’s antics to make them obey. But it worked, as they ran towards their heavily pregnant mother and hugged her belly.
’You should be resting’ said the man and smiled softly at his wife with so much love.
’Well, of course, I should be as you are the one who made me heavily pregnant for the third time’ She said with a smirk. and the kids again started to play with each other.
’Well you were not complaining when I made you pregnant’ He whispered to her which resulted in him being whacked at his chest for being profound in front of their children.
They both laughed and she laid her head against his chest. As she traced patterns at the top of his shirt she stared at the place where there is a huge scar that sits on top of his left chest area, which is visible and can be peeked through the shirt.
Memories rushed towards her and she still remembered the day it happen just like yesterday.

Summary:
A simple temple girl and the crown prince of Chola.
SHE is the love of his first youth. He fell so deeply that she became the source of his sanity. She became his desire, his love, his obsession, every feelings under the sun a man can feel. She ignited all that.
HE is the temperamental, impulsive, stubborn prince that annoyed her too much. But before she could understand that there's a love other than the love she feels for her Kanha, Aditha Karikalan became the definition of love for her.
At that tender age, two souls merged into one. Impulsiveness leads to the lover to lose his beloved.
Both were too deeply immersed in their own darkness to ever dare to think about returning to each other.
It eventually leads to tragic death. Aditha Karikalan accepted his demise happily in the hands of his beloved. And Nandhini finds peace in the streams of Kaveri, wishing to make amends in her next life.
Kanha listened to their hearts.
Aditha returns at his age of 18 with all his past memories. But he definitely isn't the only one, Nandhini's eyes flutter open and she realizes she returned when she was 12.
Will she fall back into the darkness of hatred and revenge? With all the revelations she had in her past life. How will she face the man she ever loved again? Will Aditha let go of his Nandhini this time? Given his lost sanity the last time, he oaths to just leave everything and elope with her.

Kaaneero
Thanjai was in denial. The kingdom was in denial. Everyone absolutely refused to believe the news.
Aditha Karikalan was no more, or so they'd heard. Killed at the hands of the Ilaya Rani.
"They're all rumours. Arulmozhi came back alive. Aditha will come back alive too." Kundavai had muttered to herself several thousand times in the past few hours. Arulmozhi had taken the letter sent by the Senatipati to Sundara Chozha, had tried to tell him that Aditha was truly no more, but Sundara was far from convinced. "I will not accept the news until i see his body with my own eyes, understand this arulmozhi!"
Rumours would usually spread like wildfire in the kingdom, and would pass on from one to another curious ear, until it was heavily manipulated. But this time, not one entertained the news, not one believed it. The Periya Puli couldn't have possibly fallen into a such an evident trap, they said.
All until the procession arrived in Thanjai.
There lay Aditha's lifeless body, somehow still holding a strong command over the crowd.
.
.
.
Sundara Chozha threw away Kundavai and Arulmozhi's hands that had held him upright, slowly limping down the stairs towards his eldest son. One look at Aditha's peaceful face and he knew, Aditha hadn't fallen into Nandhini's trap, he had walked into it knowing all the repercussions. Rather he had awaited it, awaited it since the day he was seperated from his kaadal. Sundara regretted his existence. He had known how much Aditha had loved Nandhini, and knew what it meant to love someone that immensely, but had done nothing to warn or prevent his son from falling that hard and deep in love. He regretted his existence, because he always knew that Aditha was a mirror image of himself, but did nothing to protect him from his own doings.
.
.
.
Kundavai prayed and pleaded to her stars, for a sign that this wasn't true. For a sign, that this was all a nightmare, and she could wake up and go back to her Anna. She stared down at Aditha, as she felt a palm over her hand. It was Arulmozhi's. Aditha was indeed no more.
Kundavai broke down before her brother's body. She held Aditha's hand one last time. Stone cold hands. And that broke her even more. She could still feel his hold on her when they met for the last time at Nagapattinam. His warm and possesive hold. And with every passing moment that she looked at him, the hold only became fainter, and Kundavai didn't know whether to hold him tight for as long as she could or run away from him.
Just for a second then at the Viharam, she'd thought that maybe things would go back to how they were before. For a second, she'd thought that maybe she'd get back her bestfriend. But he was gone. Forever.
.
.
.
Arulmozhi was brought up around a pack of Tigers, who never let their guards down. And here today the very same tigers had shattered and thrown away those guards. His Father, who he believed was the epitome of calmness, had lost all control of himself and was on his knees, staring emptily at Aditha. His elder sister, who always presented herself in the best demeanour was now a mess, weeping in front of his Anna's body. Was he supposed to uphold what he was taught, or let his emotions flow; he did not know.
Although Arulmozhi was the first to accept and put forward the news, it hadn't dawned upon him that death meant losing one, and never getting them back. Death to him was just a word, which held no real meaning until he saw Aditha's body. Maybe all along in his mind, he subconsciously believed, that Aditha would come back, alive.
With his family so out of their element, his surroundings felt unreal. A tear dropped from his eyes, soothing his burning skin. For the first time Arulmozhi felt, that maybe crying would help. He kneeled next to Kundavai and let another tear roll down. Then another. Then another.
.
.
.
Thanjai was engulfed in a grey vignette. The citizens who had last seen Aditha as a mere teenager, refused to accept that their dear boy had died. No matter how much one cried or prayed to their lords, the deed was done.
Aditha Karikalan was no more.
.

A Night to Remember - 2
She monotonously paced around the room to burn off her restlessness. She repeated the principles of management and profit planning, hoping it’ll ground her.
Her mind and body were far too desperate to know about him. Did he already know she was here? Was he happy or sad to see her? Does he want her back? Should she play hard or fall into his arms?
Maybe she should just avoid him, treat him as a stranger she weakly sighed
Her thoughts raced a mile an hour, punctuated by the loud rainfall outside. The thought of crossing the waterlogged grounds irritated her, but at least she’ll be left alone with her thoughts for now.
This family’s problems are as intricate as their mansion’s décor she chuckled. Their long term CAs- Anirudh & Pazhuvur- were a well known firm run by two senior professionals. They were from nobility themselves and handled elite clients. Though well meaning, they needed some help to untangle their client’s mess given the ever changing business laws.
She found a remote under the newspaper stand faced it towards the small, early 2000s BPL TV. She tsked when it didn’t switch on. Restlessness made her bang the remote on the sofa armrest repeatedly -and voila! The TV worked.
She shifted through the channels….. ethirneechal serial, suryavamsam movie, teleshopping, BBC, live telecast of a temple..no no no she chanted before settling on an Indian news channel.
An immaculately dressed man addressed the eager reporters. “Pandyan corp will venture into buying other heritage properties too”, he said that they’d already eyed a few old forts and palaces to turn into tourist sweetspots.
“Sir, you had already announced such a project 2 years ago, but it failed to take off” clamoured a journo
The official smoothly assured them that this time it will take off, dismissing the previous plan that fell through.
Nandini smirked, thinking of how they lost their most lucrative purchase due to her ‘skills’.
The Pandya’s were the royal clan who lost the most to colonialism. But they persevered, ignored public criticism, cut costs and started a real estate business- unthinkable for a clan of their stature. They’d changed their last remaining fort into a Heritage hotel and entered the luxury real estate market. Other noble clan’s looked down on them then, only to regret their decisions now.
The Chozhas were one of them. They had maintained autonomous rule long enough, so they settled into a complacent lifestyle. Their palatial homes (including their current residence), agricultural lands overseen by locals all seemed grand. Their money was locked up in trust funds and wills, rendering them unable to withdraw funds for their immediate needs. Their business investments were failing and it looked like they had to sell atleast one property.
Pandyas might’ve modernized into a corporate now, but their executive committee’s bitterness remained. They had lost a lot to the Chozhas but couldn’t retaliate when the British slammed them with the ‘Doctrine of Lapse’.
Their core team, on behalf of the young son of their late CEO, was full of “old guards”- people from families who’ve long been faithful servants of the owner’s kingly forefathers.
They were the top players in the luxury segment, their plan to buy heritage properties was just a century old thirst to one up the Chozhas
She’d interned with them as a gangly 23 year old fresh out of uni. The opportunity was great- they were one of the patrons of her college’s scholarship program. Veer pandyan had personally taught her, despite knowing real estate wasn’t her main interest.
The talent scouts at HR had run a background check, the results of which intrigued the big boss.
Born and adopted in Madurai,  moved to a suburb of Thanjavur at 10 where her dad worked  as a Archagar in temple before moving to Chennai after grade 11.
It was the last fact that caught his eye.
No sane Indian family, no matter their financial woes would shift cities when their child has completed 11th. Something drastic must’ve occurred. It no doubt involved the Chozhas as nothing moved from that estate without their consent.
The pandyan corp executives were nice to her. Really nice, that some of the older employees began envying her- an intern! Veer pandyan had a friendly uncle demeanor as he taught her the practicalities of real estate, investments and predicting markets. But soon his real interest began to show, he tried to pry into her past.
“It’s just odd, you know, you did grade 11 in one city and grade 12 in another “ he innocently asked.
Hoping to tolerate the intrusion for the sake of her job, Nandini replied “ My dad found a better position in Chennai, besides my brother wanted to join the OTA” hoping it sounded rational. She loved using her military intelligence officer bro as an excuse.
He left it for the day, but circled back to it often. “You went to THAT school right? The one where the Chozha kids studied… did you talk to them?”
Nandini cursed herself for being so naïve. She initially presumed he wanted to know about her past genuinely.
The topic was too painful. A sore spot she rarely thought of even in private- afraid of the emotional fallout. No amount of casual dismissal of her acquaintance with them sated her boss.
The heckling of journalists of the suited man snapped her to the present.
She began chuckling madly at the TV, at the slimy man trying to convince the reporters that all was well in paradise. Uncaring of been seen, she wheezed with laughter, knowing all wasn’t well- they had her to thank for that!
The low grumbling of the skies masked her outburst and made her anticipate the next loud thunder. It settled into silence but she wasn’t completely at peace yet. She’d stolen biscuits, borrowed a blanket and used the living room of her former flame.
She looked every bit the confident career woman she was, but his presence threw her off the cool headspace she maintained. And she’d have to leave this place anyway.
A fainted shadow fell on the foyer. “The rain must’ve messed with the porch lights” Nandini dismissed it and continued to change the channels. She chose to watch a Djokovic vs Nadal match to pass time. Engrossed as she was in their rally, she didn’t notice the shadow shift closer to her.
The door lock clicked and forced her to notice. “holy shit please don’t be a murderer” she inwardly thought before deciding to turn.
Her stuff shoulders turned, her eyebrows curled in fear but the sight of the form at the door step made them turn up in anger. “You…you brat!” Nandini bared her teeth as the tormentor of her dreams just smirked

aditha karikalan and nandhini will never have a happy ending, they're the type of couple who would break up after every single mistake and would be together the next day. they're the type of couple where one of them always loved the other, but never told them till the very last second of the one's life. they're the type of couple who probably had a one night stand once, and never had seen eachother ever again and always thought eachother as their what-ifs.
there will always be a angst in their life.
there was never a happy ending for nandhitha in this vast multiverse.

So thanks to @yourstrulywini I am encouraged to write some snippets about young NanDitha. I will try to make them mostly fluffy.
A laughing Aditha chased Nandhini coaxing her to try to take a ride on his horse. She ran around trying to escape him and calling Krishna to save her from the horrendous beast. Aditha succeeds and a horseride filled with snickers, fervent prayers and occasional screams ensues.
The girl who was mortified of horses is now best of friends with Aditha's horse. He greets her with a more enthusiastic neigh everytime. Aditha indulges in mock jealousy and Nandhini hugs her beloved four-legged friend with a smug smile.
She was stringing the garlands for the temple as she was being stories of Krishna and Andal'sdevotion for him. Now Andal had merged into her lord by the power of her love. She smiled softly at the flower in her hand. Could that happen in real life too?
She giggled and whispered into the ears of her Krishna how her beloved had held her face and looked at her with adoration. She sat beside the murti grinning and blushing like a freshly bloomed rose.
Everything reminded Aditha of Nandhini....the red sunsets of her blushing cheek, the dark night sky of her kohl laden eyes, the twinkling stars of her teary eyes when he had returned from war.
As Aditha held her close for one last time the ghosts of what they were overwhelmed his senses more than the excruciating pain erupting in his stomach. The fragrance of the temple incense and jasmine, the grazing touch of her soft hands numbed all the pains that he had felt for so many years.
As Mother Ponni welcomed her estranged daughter into her embrace she saw ghosts of the past revel in the joy of falling in love. A young girl sitting on her banks and coyly stealing glances at the young prince who looked at her as though she was a celestial nymph, quite unaware of the world around him.
Hehehe I hope you guys like this. @thelekhikawrites @nspwriteups @harinishivaa @nirmohi-premika @whippersnappersbookworm @celestesinsight @thirst4light @vibishalakshman @yehsahihai @shaonsim tag anyone who you think will like this.
