Koshiba Fuka stars as a 26 year old office worker whose reputation as a hard worker that takes her job seriously, is at risk, when her secret life of being an Tokusatsu Otaku is about to be exposed.

Universe Warrior Lupin Red — Seiji Takaiwa Henshin References

All the transformation choreography for the Universe Warriors have references to their original counterparts’ henshin sequence. But, I want to highlight UW Lupin Red because it doesn’t only reference Lupin Red — It also references Kamen Riders played by its actor, the legendary toei toku suit actor Seiji Takaiwa, who was the suit actor for main Kamen Riders for nearly 20 years.

Reference 1 — Kamen Rider Kabuto Pose

The first clap is the famous “walking the path of heaven” pose of Tendou Souji, Kamen Rider Kabuto.

Reference 2 — Kamen Rider Ryuki Finisher Pose

The second clap uses the pose from Ryuki’s Final Vent finisher!

Reference 3 — Kamen Rider Wizard Henshin Pose

The third clap takes from Kamen Rider Wizard’s henshin choreography.

Reference 4 — Kamen Rider Decade clap

Could definitely be overthinking this one, buut the way his legs relax and he taps the tegasword twice makes me believe the fourth clap is Kamen Rider Decade’s habit of clapping his hands like this. Could also see it as a Kamen Rider Kiva reference to Kivat Bat biting the hand.

Reference 5 — Lupinranger Henshin Pose

Though not a Seiji Takaiwa role, like with all UW, there's a reference to the original Lupinranger transformation sequence.

Reference 6 — Kamen Rider Den-O Pose

Post transformation, UW Lupin Red does Momotaros’ famous “ORE SANJOU!” pose!

Reference 6 — Kamen Rider Faiz Wrist Flick

Moving into the Number One Battle, Kamen Rider Faiz has a similar habit of flicking his wrist like this. May be a stretch, but it’s an iconic Faiz quirk that Takaiwa made so might be a reference with adjusting his wrist here.

Reference 7 — Kamen Rider W Pose

The last one I spotted was the two-in-one detective’s famous “Count up your sins!” Pose! Seems to also be connected to another more apparent Takumi wrist flick at the beginning
