Anyway, I saw that and immediately thought "Damn, it kinda has kaito kid vibes with the doves and the suit... WAIT" and it was like my brain just melted. Especially remembering how the first introduction of Bernard shows him, I put his hair of that moment as a wink lol

There may be some things you all don't know about New Jersey

First is that there is NO STATE MANDATED MINIMUM AGE FOR LEAVING A CHILD ALONE

This isn't even "at the time" this is CURRENT INFORMATION

It's left up to the parents' discretion of their maturity level. Although a general guideline is that you don't do it under 8, and that 12 and up is always fine.

Yes, there are child *abandonment* laws. But Tim *did* go to boarding school just outside the city. Him being home on school break, or even weekends, is not only possible, it's perfectly legally acceptable.

(And just as a side note, Tim Drake's actual place of residence at the time before he was Robin, was in fact in Gotham City itself, and not in Bristol. Not relevant to this post, I just felt the need to say it. Tim is from Gotham, guys.)

Is that unattended minors in fact DO ride public transit buses

Regularly

(There are some districts that don't even have yellow school buses and they just take public ones home)

I looked up the official stance of NJ Transit, and it seems like the official stance is that unsupervised minors under 16 are only allowed to use them to go to and from school, but anecdotally, based on things said by kids from New Jersey, no one gives a shit.

And technically speaking, as a boarding school student, Tim probably could have used that excuse any time he damn well pleased.

So even anything HAS changed since 1989, it doesn't matter, because if Tim Drake was 13 literally today, he could still fucking do this.

Some people think Tim's stuff is unrealistic

And sometimes people will be like "well for the time period-"

And I'm here to tell you that you don't even need to go that far, you just need to remember that Tim is from New Jersey.

Tim being Damian's favorite brother is EVERYTHING to me. Like, after everything happens, with the time stream incident and all, Tim just becomes Damian's favorite brother. (Though he would never actually admit it!)

Tim, of course, is oblivious to this fact. He's positive that either Dick or Jason hold this title, because why wouldn't they? Besides, Damian has made it extremely clear that he's hated Tim from the very start.

WRONG. Tim is the older brother that Damian tries to follow everytime he does something. Tim is the older brother Damian goes to so he could show off a stray animal he randomly picked up.

Damian just stands in front of Tim, holding whatever animal he found, and he just says "This is Bartholomew." And Tim just stares, nodding slowly because he's SO confused.

Tim is ignoring snarky comments from another socialite who subtly hints that Tim must be stupid or something because he dropped out from highschool, and Damian is just glaring heatedly at whoever they are and just says, "It is obvious that he dropped out because he was too intelligent for the entire school. Of course you wouldn't know, though."

Tim is talking about taking over the world because he's only a little sleepy? Damian agrees and gives him ideas, already planning the first step. Tim wants his comfort food/drinks after a long day? Damian is the first one to be beside Alfred, wanting to memorize exactly what Tim likes when he's tired.

Is this accurate to how they are in the comics? No. But DC is my playground, and I'm in a fanon mood. ^-^

(He didn't hear or see anything- HOW THE HELL??) And oh boy, he's floating? AND HE'S HANDSOME- He can feel his ears burning

Danny on the other hand is just amaze by how pretty Red Robin is with even the mask on! (And upside down)

tbh my take on the whole “should batman kill the joker” thing is that batman is a volunteer gig, and bruce is allowed to have boundaries

should *someone* kill the joker? maybe, idk. that’s above my pay grade. but just bc bruce wayne is willing to shoulder the weight of the world (whether anyone actually wants him to or not) doesn’t mean we should all just accept that it belongs to him. he chooses to help in what ways he is able, the ways he can live with, and if killing is the one line he won’t cross no matter what, well, it could be worse. but he has no actual moral obligation to do any of what he’s doing, actually, and if having this one boundary firmly in place is what keeps him from having a mental breakdown and becoming the thing he swore to stop, then i say more power to him and we could honestly all stand to learn from his example
