Leader Zephaniah has had a pup by the pack herbalist Raziel! the pup was diving headfirst into her father’s store of herbs nearly as soon as she could walk, and as such as been named Arnica. once she’s old enough, she’ll likely begin training as the pack’s next herbalist.

went ahead and dressed up Zephaniah a bit <3 they’re mute, so the string holding their mouth closed seemed really fitting!

i got it into my head that i wanted to see my pack all together so i tossed together a quick canonical height chart! here’s all the wolves of the silent so far, going left to right

the founding family: Raziel (herbalist and stud), Zephaniah (leader), Socks (lead pupsitter, leader’s mate, also a literal border collie which is why he’s so small), Farran (scout, leader’s pup)

the hunters: Snowbird (lazy chaser), Raksha (anxious chaser), Aleksei (optimistic chaser), Vesper (humble finisher), Celestine (scatterbrained stalker)

the next generation: Frigg (herbalist in training), Vaike (Vesper’s daughter, pupsitter) and her younger half-sister Crina, and Makari (scout)

one of my girls had a six pup litter, including this cute triple merle biotite, who i’m definitely keeping :O left is as-is, right is with a few tweaks i’m considering just to make her a little more blended. 

she’s over here if anyone has suggestions? i’m not very good at scrying these guys yet haha

i’m having a hard time picking which next-gen kids to keep around ngl, so far i’ve rolled three base IIs! Pewter, Obsidian, and Siqoq.... sadly the Siqoq is a male and only 3M, but he’s. he’s so pretty tho.

had an obsidian base born today :O she’s basically a clone of her mom, but with a tier II base instead, which is fun!

the de facto alpha of the clan of elmwood, nikita is, by all rights, still a youth. driven from his birth pack when it was discovered he bore preferences thought of as abnormal, he fled to the forests, choosing to live alone for the first few moons. when winter drew near, however, he became increasingly aware of the fact that he would be unable to survive alone.

perhaps by fortune, or perhaps by chance, he encountered another rogue as he wandered in search of a den to wait out the worst of the cold. dakota took him beneath his wing, having wandered for some time longer. their friendship grew as they navigated unfamiliar territory in search of a place to call their own; only two moons passed before they were as close as any mated pair.

today, nikita and dakota lead a ragtag band hidden deep within the elm wood, formed of rogues who were cast aside for one reason or another. nikita never asks questions, merely offering unconditional support and adoration. although dakota is his true mate, nikita’s affections sometimes stray to darkstone, the first to join he and his lover in their journey. the other male often shies away from his attentions, though never for long. it is not uncommon for the others of the pack to come across nikita, dakota and darkstone laying together, wrapped up tight.

Wolvember Day 1: Dreams

Somehow, She dozed off. A blizzard rages outside and She is hiding in an abandoned fox den with Songbird, the far too persistent wolf that has been ‘escorting’ her through the grasslands for about half a month now, and yet She fell asleep.

She jolts awake. She won’t sleep here. She won’t sleep now.

OH. i bred my breeding male to a NBW i was planning on chasing, with the intent of chasing her with the whole litter if nothing interesting popped out, but... something interesting popped out! 6M Pewter girl with Silver Dilution! she’s basically a clone of her dad if her dad was reasonable looking... i’m a little in love ♥

made some biography tags for my main pack members, i’ll try to get around to doing my others as well. i just drew the base and then recolored c:

my two starting wolves for wolvden! Winona (top) and Apollo (bottom) I’m still fleshing out their lore but the basic concept of them is that Winona was adopted by a dog and taken in by her humans mistakenly. Winona is eventually forcefully separated from her family through tragic circumstances and meets a wolf named Apollo who lives in literal secret catacombs and whose family has a supernatural connection with the ghosts there. Apollo teaches her how to be a wolf and now they’re wolf married together and vibe with the spirits.
