Democrats: alright we finally did it, Trumps been impeached. Time for a trial in the-
Republicans: lol yeah about that trial. Itâs not gonna be fair or anything, weâve already made up our minds and thereâs gonna be like, 0 witnesses
Democrats: oh? Ok then. If thatâs the case then I guess weâll just hold on to these *pockets articles of impeachment*

please don't use "epilepsy" or "epilepsy tw" as trigger tags for things that could induce epileptic seizures. there is a community on here for epileptics and resources that are under that tag. it's extremely dangerous because myself and others go through the tag looking for resources or posts about epilepsy, and should one of us come across a dangerous post and have a seizure, one's life could be in danger.
instead of "epilepsy", tag what exactly could induce a seizure: flashing/strobe lights, fast moving images, flickering, lightning, etc. that is what needs to be filtered for us, not epilepsy itself.

Sometimes I need reminders like this that the shame I feel is really just antiquated social constraints rearing their ugly faces in the back of my psyche and they really need to learn to fuck off
remember, ladies, before you say or do anything, to ask yourself: is this something that would get me diagnosed with female hysteria and locked in the attic by my relatives in the 19th and early 20th century? and if the answer is yes, proceed

This is just really cool
How to make a pumpkin head
Since I defs didnât want to carve a real pumpkin to put on my head and get nasts pumpkin insides all over my hair I decided to paper mache one. Unfortunately there was no good tutorials anywhere so I will share my trial and error knowledge.
First I got some supplies: 1 Punch balloon (theyâre rounder and larger they regular balloons), some paper mache stuff in a bag, cardboard, a glue gun, paint, sculpey clay, tape, some news paper and some water and flour mixed together.

I then put at least three - five paper mache layers of newspaper with flour water on the balloon. I also measured my head and left an opening at the bottom. (NOTE: Donât put tape on the balloon and try to peel it off after youâre done paper macheing, RIP)

After thatâs all dry I put glue gunned some cardboard onto it to give it some pumpkin like ridges.

Then I filled the gaps between the cardboard and the newspaper with the paper mache in a bag stuff. Wait for it to dry. (Note: Donât pop balloon until the paper mache in a bag stuff is dry cause it holds a LOT of water and your paper mache project will sink, RIP) After that I popped the balloon and lightly dampened the top with a sponge and water until it was wet enough to slowly press down into more of a pumpkin shape.

After itâs all dry I taped a stem I made out of card board on the top and put another layer or two of newspaper mache over top.

More drying wait time (you can use your oven on the lowest setting to make it dry faster) then I sanded it down and cut out a face with an exacto blade.

I added a little bit of backing behind the face on the inside with the paper mache in a bag to give it more of a 3D look which wasnât that noticeable but oh well, it kidna worked⊠After all that stuffs done I painted it all white otherwise the newsprint would bleed through and make my colours not as bright, I also added some sculpey clay to the brow area to give it some more emotion in which I used an iron to dry it with cause it was too late to put it in the oven with paint all over it (Note: Put clay on before painting).

I sprayed it with a sealer before painting colours on it cause I find acrylics do weird things sometimes. After it was all dry I begin to paint.

I also painted the inside a red and added a kinda head rest thing on the inside since when I pushed the top down it made an uncomfortable point at the top when putting it on your head. Then once it was all dry I sprayed it with some more sealer, added some cool stuff like stitches with some ribbon and blood which I used nail polish for a shiny effect and put in some lights which werenât very effective when my head was in the pumpkin but thatâs okay, it still looked cool.

And thatâs that!

Hope this helps some people, Enjoy!

I got diagnosed with CVS as a teenager. I had a positive manometry for pseudo-obstruction in my stomach and small bowl and my gastric emptying scan would come back either slightly delayed or normal. I got a G-Tube for draining and spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital for vomiting under the CVS diagnosis. Years later I had a SmartPill study (it measures pH, temp and time and it's not covered by insurance BTW) and it timed my stomach emptying at 46 hours - so severe gastroparesis; when I eventually had open surgery they did a pyloroplasty on top of everything else in order to expedite my stomach emptying (which helped, but I still need a G-Tube for drainage or I'll get nausea/vomiting/severe GERD).
TL;DR gastric emptying scans are a good place to start, but not the end-all be-all diagnostically for stomach issues. CVS was more of a shrug diagnosis than anything else.
Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome?
So, My doctor thinks I have Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome because the gastric emptying test came back normal - Idk how much I agree with this, to be honest. I feel like I need to do a 4 hour exam instead of just a 90 minute one⊠Anyone with Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome willing to share their experiences directly with me? Would be much appreciated.

So âqueerâ isnât just an identity thatâs broadly inclusive because, I donât know, we like big parties. Thereâs actually an underlying ethic, a queer theory, that has political implications.
Its name reclaims a slur because the point is to say, âI am different, but thatâs not a bad thing.â The queer movement is about upholding the right of all people to deviate from an oppressive cisgender, heterosexual, patriarchal norm. Broadening the spectrum of acceptable diversity; questioning and dismantling the social pressures that police and punish deviance. Changing not just our own lives, but how our entire society thinks about sex and gender.
Thatâs why âqueerâ embraces so many different groups. Itâs not trying to erase their differences, but to try to coherently understand the complex overlapping pressures that affect each of them, and to extend our reach beyond the LGBT+ community. Itâs about the right of lesbians to live without men and the right of trans and nonbinary people to be who they are, the right of asexuals to define for themselves whatâs significant in their lives, the right of straight men to be vulnerable and emotional and nonviolent. When the great queering project is done, you will see the changes everywhere, not just in small LGBT+ enclaves.
Itâs recognizing that something that harms or oppresses one of us is pretty likely to harm all of us, so we all benefit from taking it down together.

There is a lot of pressure in western society to have things done on a certain timeline, college, marriage, job, kids. Chronic illness and mental illness do not fit well into that timeline, and you do not have to rush and wear yourself out trying to fit in to those arbitrary standards. you are doing just fine the way you are doing things

This is hilarious and totally something they'd suggest
The Journals of Cullen Rutherford 494
9:42 26th Wintermarch
Of course I am completely aware that military campaigns require a near bottomless supply of funding, but the idea I would submit to guided tours through Skyhold as a means to raise more coin is unthinkable.
This is not a village fair or public marketplace. We are situated in inhospitable terrain atop a mountainside. Whatâs next? Shall we offer a daily excursion to the curious? Perhaps sparring with me or how to trick your friends and neighbors with lessons on sneaking about from Leliana or her scouts? An etiquette and proper behavior symposium led by Josephine? Why not organize rides for children on the Inquisitionâs mounts?
I sincerely hope Josephine and Leliana were having me on, because otherwise I must question their grasp on reality. Guided tours. Utter nonsense.
