Why the tiger has become a transgender symbol in Japan

Recently we learned about how some trans folks in Japan like to use tigers as a symbol for the trans community. It's a pun: Tora [虎] is the Japanese word for tiger, and when you sound out "trans" in katakana it basically starts with "tora." To-ra-n-su [トランス].

Toransu is clearly a loan word from English ("trans") that has been adapted to Japanese pronunciation (adding vowels/vowel epenthesis helps you avoid unpronounceable consonant clusters).

Well…The letters could stand for anything. We, the Toku-Fans, already know what the future full bottles are. But in show, Build and Co. don't know what those letters could stand for. Let's use the Light Full Bottle as an example; we fans know the O stands for Octopus, but the characters might ponder if the O stands for Orca or Officer.

I was expecting Leviathan to look like…well…Leviamon. Because in the previous Digimon series, the Demon Lord digimons were some of the antagonists(This does include Beelzebumon from tamers because he did straight murdered Leomon).
