the thing that's most interesting to me about Batfleck's version of violence is that it's deliberate. It's a conscious choice from a broken man to choose the option that is closest to indirect murder at the cost of criminals ( or in this case a specific brand of criminals too - he is not irreverent of the lives of traffickers and mercenaries that literally murdered a villege at the prompting of a rich white man ) like those are deliberate and the framing of the scenes even emphasize that you're supposed to question that level of violence even if it is in the favor of goodness because of you look at it from the context of those crimes they should be unforgivable and that's how you know how badly this batman has fallen from grace

Sometimes i have to agree with people when they say dream was treated unfarly in the show. This whole scene was comical. Desire, the endless with the lowest opinion on mortals in the comics, were genuinely upset of the deaths of innocents while dream was turned into the bad guy. Again. Even if it was destruction's fault. I'm dying.

And let's not talk about the whole "stalking Nada" nonsense and the storyline with Gault and Jed in s1 😭
