Between the two was an empty soccer field and a single ball.

No words have been said yet, what previously occurred was a friendly soccer match. Yet it seemed so filled with some sort of regret or guilt.

Two rivals, once brothers and colleagues. Rin stood there, taking deep breaths once they finished their little game. Sae looked somewhere else, his eyes were clearly looking at Rin. But it felt like he was looking through him.

But then he did. He looked him in the eyes, his baby brother. His No. 2, he wasn't looking at the talented striker who played in matches for crowds

He was looking at Rin.

He took strides forward, Rin hadn't even noticed yet. He's been looking at the ground this whole time not knowing whether to feel scared, angry, content. All he saw was the grass and cleats beneath him.

"Rin,"

Ah, how uncanny. This hollow person of a prodigy man. Sae, talking to such a "lukewarm" person such as him.

He was angry, he felt inferiror-

A hand touched his shoulder, a gentleness hes long forgotten. A person he removed all found memories of, and left only the burning fuel to claw his way to the throne of strikers.

"I'm proud of you."

Sae still felt uneasy saying this. But knew he shouldve said this so many times, told him sooner even. I doubt seeing eachother cry was deemed natural, they were both just soccer machines before. Programmed to reach for higher.

"I'm sorry for being such a shitty older brother."

A ding echoes throughout saes room, a text from shidou is in the notifications. A simple message reading;

"Would we be best friends in every universe? 😍😘💅👅💖"

He let out a deep groan. Squinting his eyes at the bright phone screen, it was 3 in the morning? Is he insane? Well of course he is but regardless. Does he have any self respect left in that head? Or is it just a monkey bouncing around an empty skull.

Sae would turn around in bed. There was an owl plushie (it definitely doesnt look like rin and I definitely didnt add this in bcuz I want their relationship to heal like me and my irl brothers is :3). He was probably gonna punch it or hug it later.

The keyboard popped up on the phone. Small little taps heard.

"Fuck off"

The hot springs, such a tranquil- wait tranquil? I meant terrifying place to be at the moment. Oliver's cheek is red from all the girls slapping him, numerous complaints going to the receptionist about "a ratty playboy". Multiple side pieces lost again..

Ah! Theres Kurona, of course he has to be doing something completely normal right? Hes seen swimming around, a hand peaking out of the water as he pretends to be a shark.

Some guys and girls crowd someone, they must be something special if so many people are crowding! Its hyoma with his hair down. Guys think hes a chick and girls are asking for his hai routine, if only running fast could help him escape in water!...

The blue lock players are tired. Bachira could be seen straightening out a yellow tie. Rin had stopped to stare at the paparazzi before continuing to walk forward. Shidou had shown up wearing the most horrific hot pink suit anyone could see matched with a red tie, it was quite.. interesting?

Sae followed soon after. A sigh, he was used to it but it was annoying nonetheless. As isagi walked in he quickly got body slammed by kaiser. Stealing the spotlight with ness trailing right behind him.

What an eventful day for them on the red carpet...
