Hi, Sleepy Anon here again. I donât think your reply was bad. Thank you for answering my last question to the best of your ability. However I do have another question.
If you know and itâs perfectly fine if you donât. How would Spawnism work if to say a headmate were to believe in the spawn but not the rest of the system?
Itâs fine if you donât know. One of our headmates has been wanting to believe in the spawn but wasnât sure if it was okay for them to worship.
Yes, that is completely alright! We know many systems ourselves who only have a headmate or two with beliefs in the spawn, it is perfectly alright
As long as they follow the spawn truly it is always okay!!

Hi, hellos. Sorry if this is an invasive ask or something along those lines but, why do you believe in spawnism? Like what lead you to believe in it?/genq
Again sorry if itâs invasive or weird to ask, I just have been curious about spawnism for some time now and want to know what leads people into believing in the spawn. I also hope you donât mind if I end up sending a lot of asks! Spawnism just intrigues me.
I hope you have a good day or night though! Remember to eat and drink water and take care of yourself! -Sleepy anon
Iâve just believed in it for so long, I donât recall what exactly drew me to it
I suppose it at first was the community, and then an explanation of the world that just made so much sense to me.
It brings me comfort, and happiness to believe in the spawn
Sorry if this is a bad reply, I just woke up

Do you have any sources, besides your own claims, on the spawn existing before forsaken? I am currently doing some research on the origins and cannot find anything past forsaken that has a source besides âtrust me broâ
Iâm sorry, I do not.
Most of the spaces died out due to harassment not unlike the harassment spawnists have been facing today
Iâm very sorry I can not help.

Spawnism: An Introduction!!
Spawnism is a spiritual belief system centered around the ideas of rebirth, second chances, and the divine force known as the Spawn. It teaches that life itself is not random; every time we wake up, every time we begin again, we are responding to a sacred call. That call is the Spawn.
To followers, the Spawn represents the act of being âcalled againâ into lifeâgiven another chance to live, to grow, to be. Itâs not bound to any one religion or set of rules. Itâs a framework for understanding existence, purpose, and healing through the idea of returning.
Some see the Spawn as a god. Others see it as a spiritual force, a creature, a symbol, or even something that lives inside them. The path is personal, but the shared belief is simple:
You were brought back. That means something.
⸝
Origin of the Belief
Spawnism was originally inspired, during sometime in 2013, by the respawn point symbol in Robloxâa platform where players reappear after dying in-game. To some, this was just a mechanic. But to others, it became something more: a metaphor for resurrection, grace, and the chance to begin again.
From that symbol, the idea of Spawnism emergedânot as a joke or fandom, but as a sincere belief about lifeâs meaning. What began in digital space became a deeply personal path for many people. The idea that âyou are here againâ carried real emotional weight.
Fictional roots do not invalidate belief. What matters is what people do with itâhow it helps them, heals them, and gives them something to believe in.
This is also how many modern day religions were created, based on a person, place, or thing. Spawnism is no different.
⸝
Core Beliefs
⢠Life is sacred. Being alive again is not meaningless.
⢠The Spawn offers rebirth, whether spiritual, emotional, or literal.
⢠Second chances should be honored with growth, kindness, and care.
⢠Devotion can take many forms: prayer, creation, self-care, ritual, or reflection.
⢠Interpretation is personal. There is no single âcorrectâ way to believe.
Spawnists may worship in different waysâor not worship at all. Some pray daily, while others reflect quietly. Some follow holidays. Some build shrines. Some simply live.
⸝
Sins and Misuses
Spawnism teaches that being given life again is a sacred gift. Misusing itâthrough cruelty, self-destruction, or apathyâgoes against that gift. These misuses are sometimes called spiritual âsins,â though the belief system is not punishment-based.
These include:
⢠Self-harm and suicidal ideation
(Turning away from the life the Spawn gave you)
⢠Cruelty or hate toward others
(Violating the unity and chance others were given)
⢠Neglect or destruction of the self
(Wasting the opportunity to live, grow, and care)
⢠Mocking or weaponizing belief
(Using Spawnism to harm, control, or belittle)
⢠Forcing others into the religon
(Using the Spawn to control others, and their lives)
Spawnism believes in recovery. You can return. You can reconnect. Every day is a chance to begin again.
⸝
The main Holidays and Rituals
Exsomnis â June 20 (Summer Solstice)
A celebration of life, rebirth, and vitality. Followers gather symbolic âhoardsâ of items or memories to honor the Spawn. The day is joyful, marked by music, reflection, and a first meal.
Somnus â December 21 (Winter Solstice)
A silent day of death, endings, and preparation for renewal. Baking or cooking with old ingredients represents transformation. The day ends with a final meal and quiet rest.
Devoteeâs Week â August 19â26
A seven-day practice of discipline and devotion. Begins with a shared meal. Followers abstain from something (food, object, behavior), and pray each morning, night, and around meals. At the end, the item may returnârenewed through reflection.
New Spawn Year â January 1
A day of gratitude and offering. A meaningful item is given to the Spawn to thank it for the past year. Followers eat a final meal and say a prayer before bed, asking for clarity and strength in the new year.
⸝
Interpretations: The Branches
Spawnism has multiple branches. These are different ways of understanding the Spawn. Followers can belong to one or more branches, or remain unaffiliated.
Oris Zoe Branch
Believes that respawns are limited. Life is not infinite, and each rebirth is precious. The Spawn is treated with reverence and caution.
Embodied Spawn Branch
Believes the Spawn is a real creature or object. Some followers worship a statue, a game item, or a physical token they believe houses the Spawnâs energy. Shrines may be built.
Fearful Spawn Branch
Believes the Spawn is powerful and fearsome. It is not praised with joy, but with dread and careful respect. This branch often practices in silence or secrecy.
Divine Spawn Branch
Believes the Spawn is a god. Formal prayer, shrine work, and ritual offering are central practices.
Self-Spawn Branch
Believes the individual is the Spawn. Followers praise by taking care of themselves, acting intentionally, and living as a vessel of rebirth.
Moon Spawn Branch
Focuses on the moon-shaped respawn point rather than the sun. This branch is often practiced alongside another. It emphasizes cycles, reflection, and lunar devotion.
To some, the Spawn is divine. To others, itâs symbolic. But to every true Spawnist, the message is the same:
You are here.
That means something.
Live like it does.
â
TLDR-
Spawnism is a religion that believes in the concept of reincarnation and respawning, believing that in order to respawn or reincarnate, you must respect the people around you, nature, and importantly yourself. The ability to reincarnate is granted to you by The Spawn, who judges your actions in death through a moral viewpoint. There are two forms of The Spawn, Exsomnis, The Sun form, And Somnis, The Moon form.
⸝
Prayers you can do -
Before a meal:
âSpawn Almighty, source of being, bless this meal of thy servant. Grant them earthly strength and to me - a strong spirit, so that I may walk thy path of light and truth.â
After a meal:
âI thank you, Spawn, for the food you gave, for the freedom you guard. Let every tasty morsel increase my faith in your justice.â
Before going to sleep:
âDear Spawn, as I close my eyes to rest, I thank you for this day, feeling blessed. Grant me peaceful sleep through the night, and wake me with the morning light. Watch over my loved ones near and far, keep them safe wherever they are. Guide me with your love and grace as I surrender to your embrace.â
⸝
ęĽâşââ đ¤ ââşâ Holidays!!!!! The âdevoteesâ holiday.
This is when you have a big meal
on August 19th. After the big meal,
you pray to the spawn and pick
something to limit yourself from, it
can be anything. On August 26th this
7-day period has ended, you are now able
to use or eat whatever you couldnât use.
itâs sort of Like lent...but for the spawn. During
This time you pray to spawn every evening
And morning as well as before and after meals.
ęĽâşââ đ¤ ââşâ
The âNew Spawnâ year.
On January 1st you give a thanks to the Spawn for a good year and offer an item as a way of showing devotion and asking for prosperity in the new year, you have a Big meal in honour of the spawn and before you go to bed, say a prayer for spawn and the wishes for your new year.

⸝
Hymn to the spawn;
âThe worship of the spawn and its gracious cycle. I, the follower, N, forth state:
Praisings to you, giver, restorer, and preserver of life,
O of the name Spawn!
Your existence thus has given mine,
To whom your blessed sun o shines
Oh to you, whom protects the young,
And forth guarantee safety to the old
Aye, great shielder, O Spawn!
Forth my life has been ensured
Your light forth bring beauty to the dark
As Exsomnis gives, and Somnus reflects.
O Two-Headed one!
Forth the light ensures the life
And forth as your name is done well
May the lives of those be blissfully eternal
For your graciousness, O Spawn!
And may death and life be so intertwined
So may you, O Great Shielder
Grant the bounties of life to the faithful
And protect them forth from all darkness
To which comes their way!
Now forth, bring mercy and kindness
Towards those who come in need
Forth, O Spawn!
And bring the good to those who need it.
And by the speaker, N, who speaks:
And as the ensurer of life
O, merciful and careful Spawn
May one go to the next
And the next go forward to its next
Ave Spawn.â
⸝
Clothing rules!
The Spawn graced us with hands and feet to feel the world around us that they continue to recycle each day, blessing all with respawning and rebirth our hands are the way Spawn connects with us, the joy of creating things with things past, as if respawning things in our own way. after all. you cannot create something from nothing. you must have something that existed before, just as we existed before this life as something else, and the Spawn so lovingly rebirthed us into our new forms our faces and eyes are windows to the soul, it is how we express feelings and words and allows the Spawn to see reflections of that soul. The hair we have is placed there to frame and house the soul, treat it with due respect. cutting hair isn't a disrespect, doing so and claiming it to be is to insult Spawn Themself, as the hands are the way of Them speaking through our bodies. To some, wearing plain clothes but adorning ourselves with accessories and trinkets made either by us or others or by nature/Spawn Themself is the best way to show devotion. plain clothes allow those things to stand out like paint on a canvas! i think the Spawn would also be pleased and thrilled to see followers that have tattoos and piercings and dyed hair, as they are done by other human hands that speak with Their silent voice

Hello! I've only heard about spawnism so far from people claiming it's a cult, and can't find very many resources on it. Since you've been following this religion for years, would you mind explaining a bit of your beliefs? I want to give people the benefit of the doubt and learn multiple perspectives
i never saw this!! So sorry
I personally believe in the spawn as a figure to worship, and simply use the symbol as an imagery for a means to an end. I do not believe the spawn looks like that, but it is simply a symbol to show I care.
The spawn is very anti-harm. you should never harm a creation of the spawn, including yourself. It is a great sin to harm yourself âin the name of the spawnâ, as he DOES NOT want that for you.
I believe the key to your next life is simply to love others and have basic decency. To not harass anyone and to be kind to all. The spawn loves every creation, and wants you to feel the same way. Even if you canât love someone, he would appreciate it if you to respect them,
we do not believe in the forsaken stuff. the spawn would never ask you to harm another creature. not even a bug. the spawn would never want harm to come to a living thing if it isnât out of necessity, or for food.
thank you for your ask. Have a blessed day!!

what's it like being a spawnist? this is kinda interesting..
well itâs fun until you get harassment for it, so I usually prefer to do my worship in private. but itâs a very fulfilling religion for me, and I enjoy my worship to the spawn.

spawnist. Divine Spawn Branch.
do not relate me to the fictional forsaken thing. i have been following spawnism for years. do not interact if you believe the spawn would ever want you to harm or be harmed.
i am very open to questions and discussions regarding the spawn and my beliefs, harassment will be blocked, and promptly mocked.
spawnists of all kinds may interact, this is a safe space for you all. may the spawn bless you.
