how you speak according to your mercury sign. according to me.

aries mercuries dont even have loud voices they just have a talent for talking as soon as the room is quiet, aries mercs can also be pretty monotone their faces are just super expressive so it feels more like they’re just being honest rather than bored. also super animated and use their hands in speech a lot.

taurus mercuries have voices made for audiobooks. velvety and often have great singing voices. they talk slowly and enunciate well. they feel like they think about what they say even if they dont.

gemini mercuries either feel like mad scientists or like you’ve known them for 15 years even if they’re a stranger. they have a relaxed tone but are so expressive that it feels playful, they dont take breaks in what they say and flow in conversation. ive noticed they also widen their eyes a lot when they speak

cancer mercuries have quieter voices and pronounce every letter, they have some vocal fry when they speak and use filler words a lot so can come across as a little valley girly. they also tend to draw out their sentences like taurus mercs.

i dont know how to explain it but leo mercuries space their words weird like news reporters do (?). they’re dramatic and do a lot of different things with their voices in conversation, if they’re telling you a story they’ll do a different voice for every person they’re talking about.

virgo mercuries just kind of always sound smart and like they know what they’re talking about. kind of people that would drop something like ‘furthermore’ into a conversation and it just sounds normal. virgo mercuries have pretty monotone voices too and it does feel like they’re bored. they probably are.

libra mercuries move their faces a lot when they speak especially their eyebrows. they’ll look around the room when they explain something and nod along to themselves while they speak. i think libra mercuries can have pretty deep voices too actually.

scorpio mercuries also move their faces a lot when they speak and draw their words out, but unlike cancer or taurus mercs this can come across as them being intense or brooding when really they’re just thinking about what they want to say next. more charismatic than people give them credit for. i also have a theory that scorpio placements have nasally voices so i’d say that applies here.

sagittarius mercuries are singsongy in how they speak and will often cut themselves off or repeat themselves in sentences. they speak with their whole bodies and especially move their necks a lot while speaking.

capricorn mercuries have harsher voices so they kind of always sound like they’re saying something bluntly. they talk with their hands a lot but it feels like they do that because they think they need to rather than it being natural since they dont tend to have expressive faces or voices.

aquarius mercuries are usually chill and kind of feel like they’re not fully invested in whatever’s coming out of their mouth, they’ll tell you the craziest story like it was just an average tuesday. they can be very blunt and stiff in their movements but they speak like they’re stoned or like they just woke up from a nap lmfao

Is it bad that I genuinely don't get the hype for covens? I'm seeing a lot more people asking about them, and like to each their own. But also there's a lot of power in just doing your research, and finding what works for you. Why do people want to institutionalize everything, because I genuinely feel like everything doesn't need to be a community. It's one thing to seek a gentle suggestion/guidance, and another to just basically pick something that's a leash with a different color.

Both paths can be powerful and transformative. It comes down to what your spirit needs and how you learn best. Some witches shift between both over time. Trust yourself to know which space nourishes your growth.

Solitary witchcraft

Pros:

Total freedom. You move at your own pace, follow your intuition, and build a path that’s fully your own.

Deep introspection. Solitary practice often leads to stronger personal insight and internal connection to your craft.

Cons:

Motivation can fluctuate without structure or accountability.

Working with a Coven

Pros:

Shared wisdom. You gain access to the experience and perspectives of others.

Ritual power. Group workings can amplify energy and intention.

Community. Emotional and spiritual support can strengthen your path.

Cons:

Less flexibility. Group decisions and schedules may not always align with your personal needs.

Hierarchies. Some covens have rigid structures that may limit your autonomy.

Compatibility. Not every group will feel right, and conflicts can disrupt your practice.
