Realizing I've been bad at sharing some of my recently finished minis, so doing a bulk post for now. Still have to varnish/take better photos but these are all done for now. My first Necromunda gang - Squat Prospectors. Gave me an excuse to finally paint some squats and to try Necromunda, looking forward to that!

A second Plagueburst Crawler for my Death Guard. It was fun to think of some minor conversions to help differentiate it from my first one.

And some support for my World Eaters: a Master of Execution and Skarbrand!

Ooops, got my two tumblr accounts criss-crossed, sorry (not sorry) for the bird photos. More warhammer goodness coming soon. Recently finished Angron and a Daemon Prince, just haven't set up a photo area yet in the new space.

This may or may not turn into a bird account, haha. Just a few taken this week. Saw quite a few Blue Jays, Tufted Titmouse, Downy Woodpecker, White-Breasted Nuthatch and an American Robin. Threw in a squirrel for good measure.

My wife and I picked up an Empire State Pass this morning and can't wait to have a year full of hikes! We decided to kick it off on the first day of 2024 with a cold walk around Lake Minnewaska. Some bonus deer photos from the front yard too.

Trying to end 2023 with a head of steam, getting ready to get busy painting again in the new year. This week I've been prepping 20+ zerkers and other World Eater reinforcements, testing out an updated TS blue scheme and putting the finishing touches on Angron and the Daemon Prince. Need to think about some new tutorials for the new year and try out the new setup, maybe a WE scheme?

Switching things up for a bit and trying out World Eaters recipes. Think I’m overall pretty pleased with how Kharn came out. Gonna need to get better photos of him as the cell/hobby light really blows everything out.  Gonna set him aside and go back to the Khorne Daemon Prince and Angron!

Recent Death Guard additions - Space Marine Heroes set, Lord Felthius & the Tainted Cohort and a few extra Plague Marines I didn't have yet to round out my collection. More photos/videos soon...

Recently gotten hooked to Vampire Survivors and dang, my best run yet. Just got Poppea the last round and my be my new go-to.

Taking a look back at 2022 and the minis I finished up. Fewer models completed this year, but hoping to get back into my groove next year. I had the most fun on the two dioramas and hope to work on a few more this coming year. My backlog of Death Guard models has just grown and the upcoming World Eaters are REALLY tempting (100% getting Angron).

Setup a closer look of the Ironbreaker v. Black Orc duel over on my Youtube channel. Along with the video, I did a full write up on the Brookhammer site which features more photos and a break down of how I brought the base to life.

Been wanting to create stand-off duel between a Black Orc and Ironbreaker for years but just never got around to it or trusted my abilities. Felt now was a better time than any to get it a go and couldn’t be happier with the end results. I’ll get some more photos and videos up soon.

Made some progress today. Post wash, did some oil filtering and started to put down some flock and dry-fit the minis! Almost done.
