Show time!

Most of our European Warmbloods were packed into our trailers and riders were heading out to Sydney. We were hoping Kajsa Rose would have joined us with Jollydale von Edelweiss, but she didn't feel up to it. Our newer warmbloods didn't join us as they were about to start their training and hopefully will start showing them in beginner levels. It was a five-day weekend! We were grateful as one of our friends allowed us to use their farm facilities to camp out and allow our horses to stay there, so we only took the horses we needed for the day and time out when the classes were on. We were told by other staff our other horses were doing great and having a blast. We have another horse arriving soon, which is exciting.

While we not showing our horses and riders competing in the class, here are some sneak peak of our weekend.

Summer Time!

It's summertime at Silverwood Equestrian but it hasn't been our usual summer, it has been cooler with rain and thunderstorms. We train our horses when we can between the weather events. some of our riders have been sick over the last few days. Our other riders had to step in and exercise their horses including training theirs. Our riders and their warmbloods are about to leave for Sydney where they will compete in European Warmblood World Finale 2023/24. Some warmbloods will complete in the EWA classes only while others will defend their title in EWIG class and show in some special classes for fun.

Our new rider Annalise Astor has arrived from Germany and got to work straight with her assigned horse YE Taja while Jason is exercising Hamlet for Scarlett as she feeling unwell and didn't have the energy to train her.

Poor Angela took SC La Brume de Paris for a trail ride last night and cut her leg against a fallen branch. she is housed in the vet facility stables and receives care. Jayden is helping our vet as he is looking at a post-competition career. Paris will be out for the EWA world finale, hoping she will be cleared for the next show.

Foal Season in the air ❤️

Silverwood Equestrian has welcomed three foals to our herd. Let me introduce you to them!

SWE Embar Glow was our first foal who arrived. Her dam is Mayberry's Mullbery and sire is TJS Hot Legz. Hot Legz is one of our oldest stallions who first arrived in our team, we were excited he was a sire for this foal! She a generous chestnut filly that loves attention and has speed like her mother and father. Our owner Rachel Silverwood will train her for eventing and show jumping. Embar has a cheeky personality like her father.

SWE Altair was our second foal to arrive. His dam is TJS Sunchip. had a difficult birth with him. Altair arrived 2 weeks late than planned and arrived during a storm. It was getting to the point, that we were going to separate them and bring in another mare to look after him after Sunchip decided to ignore him in the few hours. He will be train in Eventing and Dressage.

SWE Midnight Titan was our latest foal to arrive during a heatwave in January 2024, a bit late in the season to have a foal arrive. Due to the heatwave, we were watching his mother ENS Winds of War 24/7 to ensure she was comfortable. Generous black colt with similar markings to his mother. He will be train in show jumping and dressage. We named him Midnight as he arrived at 12am over a new moon. His show name will be Midnight Titan. 'Titan' name being from Greek mythology and refers to immortal. Mummy and foal are doing prefect and enjoying their first day out of the stables in a week. Midnight taking his time finding his steps in a new world.

We haven't disappeared!

We haven't left or disappeared! Silverwood Equestrian has been busy! We have been moving to new stables and joining new communities, but we have found our new home with Equality Sims and Equus Sims. While we not going to repeat every event that happened in the last few years. We going to give you some highlights!

Silverwood Equestrian has moved to a bigger facility that holds all our horses! We haven't stop there, we building another stable!

We have welcome three foals in 2023/2024! SWE Ember Glow, SWE Altair and SWE Midnight Titan. Take a guess who they are!

We have entered many shows and won some! But we took a massive break in 2023! What have we and our horses been doing?

Two of our Brightest Eventing Stars take the lead

One of our brightest and competitive eventing stars of Silverwood Equestrian - Kajsa Rose and TJS Sunchip has taken the lead over our leaderboards. TJS Sunchip is our first horse to earn over 100 point on this forum, taking her points to 112. With Kajsa entering TJS Sunchip in more shows, Kajsa expecting TJS Sunchip to achieve more points. On Genus Sims, TJS Sunchip is known as a grand prix completer, long side Silverwood Dressage star TJS Chesterfield and Eventing/Dressage Speedy TJS Hot Legz. Wish our horses best of luck in upcoming shows

Another one of our star Eventing horse, came from The Jewels Stable, owned by the beautiful Cleo Swift <3 <3, have achieved over 100 points on EA  Congrats  TJS Hot Legz. TJS Hot Legz and his rider Rachel Stone (Silverwood) was the second to achieve over 100 points - bringing his total to 103 points. TJS Chesterfield is trailing behind him with a total of 88 points. Our Eventing team Rachel Stone, Kajsa Rose and Angela Silverwood with their horses TJS Hot Legz, TJS Sunchip and TJS Nightfall completed and surprise us with their results from BVEC Eventing show. Our horses worked well with our riders to achieve the best they possibily could. Kajsa Rose and TJS Sunchip hoping to achieve a 1st place win, and they did it in the Advanced (Edited) class. TJS Hot Legz and Rachel Stone surprize themselves with a 1st place win after not achieving a place in the last eventing show. TJS Sunchip and TJS Hot Legz making one of our best horses to complete with. Training will continue with our horses, how much more training can we do while we achieving high placements in shows. Results: Kajsa Rose & TJS Sunchip - Advanced 'edited' 1st place Rachel Stone & TJS Hot Legz - Intermediate 'edited' 1st place Angela Silverwood & TJS Nightfall - Beginner 'edited' 2nd place

~ EA Show ~ Three of our riders and their horses completed at BRE 2nd Dressage show during the week and came back with amazing results. Rachel Stone (Silverwood) rode in the intermediate class with TJS Chesterfield, making his debt in Dressage performing a extension trot. Jace Stone and TJS Star made their debt in competition since arriving at Silverwood Equestrian a few months ago and completed in the beginner class (edited), taking out top place in the division. Our second place eventing pair Kajsa Rose & TJS Sunchip entered the dressage show to take a break from the eventing side in the Advanced class and coming back with a high result, not what they expected.

~ Equisim Alliance Eventing Show~

Silverwood Equestrian riders; Rachel Stone and Kajsa Rose recently completed in BRE's Eventing Trails with their horses TJS Hot Legz and TJS Sunchip. Rachel Stone and TJS Hot Legz completed in the intermediate class while Kajsa Rose and TJS Sunchip completed in the Advanced Class in the show. Both horses managed to pull off believable moves in the dressage phase and cleared their jumps in the show jumping and cross country phases. Kajsa Rose and TJS Sunchip managed to take home a 3rd win in the Advanced class, Well done to our pair. Rachel Stone and TJS Hot Legz won't lucky to achieve a win, but they work very well together and know what to fix up in their next show.

We also achieve 20 bonus points for each horse in editing and 10 bonus point for TJS Sunchip trot-up image.

I entered into a Dressage show ~ Performing a passage in the Advanced Class and Show Jumping Show ~ Clearing a 1.30m jump in the Advanced class with TJS Hot Legz <3 <3 One of our best competitive horses in Silverwood Equestrian <3

                                                 Unexpected Visit 

Update (Third person POV) ~ Rachel’s receives a unexpected surprise visit from her brother, who she hasn’t seen for years. Tells him about the engagement, expecting him to be angry but receive a surprising gift from him.

I woken up in the morning after having the surprising shock phone call a few days ago, still felt a little weird after it. Jayden supported me over the next few days and trying to calm me down. I haven’t spend days around the horses, Jayden thought i might have given up equestrian. The last few days i was depressed and stressed.

I was sitting on the couch in the front living room, watching tv and look out of the window seeing some of our horses in the arena. We were growing in horse numbers and i glad we have two facilities running. Then the unexpected visit happen when the door bell ring. I saw Jayden went to open the front door, “Is this where i find a girl named Rachel”, i heard someone ask.

“Yes, come in, she in the living room”, i heard Jayden replied. I looked towards the entrance of the living room when i saw a unfamiliar man standing at the entrance, with brownish blonde long hair. I stood up, thinking who was this person, “Who are you”, i asked.

“I’m Jace Stone and i’m your brother”, Jace said when i smiled, i could felt tears wetting my cheek when i finally saw my brother again. He came up and gave me a tight hug when i started to cry and buried my head into his shirt, “I’m so happy to see you, can’t believe i had a brother this all time”, i said.

“Same too”, he replied when he looked at me again and touched my hand, that was when i could felt him touching my engagement ring, “Did you get biten by something”, he asked.

“Hmm no”, i replied, How was i supposed to tell him, i was going to wait until after, i thought.

He looked at my hand seeing the engagement ring, “Your engaged”, he asked.

“Yea surprise”, i replied.

“I heard you started a equestrian center”, he asked.

“Yes i have”, i replied, “Do you want to see what we been working on with our horses”.

“Sure”, he replied. After Jayden and i told Jace about a few of our mares being pregnant and we were expecting foals soon, we were pretty excited about it. We told him why we named our equestrian center ‘Silverwood Equestrian’. He was surprised on how many horses we have adopted in only a year and a bit of opening, how many facilities we had. I told Jace, we wanted to rebuild our facilities or given our current facities a makeover. I was shocked when he told us he could help us rebuild our facilities, we were pretty happy about it. I decided after i wanted him to stay in our Silverwood family and he agreed.

In the afternoon, Jace told me he had a surprise for me, waiting in the stables. I told him, Jayden and i were going to train two of our best horses; TJS Hot Legz and TJS Ninamch for a while, and i ask for him to join, which he did. We took our two horses to the stables and placed them in the arena to tack up while Jace went to the stables and grab my surprise gift.

After tacking up TJS Hot Legz, i looked over and saw Jace bring a chestnut mare into the arena, she was beautiful and very tall, “omg, you didn’t”, i asked.

“I did, a special gift for my younger sister”, he replied, “I heard about your old horse Stardust and i’m sorry to hear, i know you loved her so much”.

“It’s okay”, i replied.

“This is your new horse TJS Star, Hanoverian Chestnut mare”, he said, “I know she looks like Stardust but i want to give you a horse with the same personality and looks similar to Stardust”.

“Thank you”, i said as i came up and hug him again and got to know TJS Star, she was very friendly and generous. I loved her to bits. Jace decided he want to give it a try in the saddle, so i let him mount in TJS Hot Legz saddle, the stallion i been working with for months. I was surprised the boy were getting on so well. I decided to ride TJS Star and she was amazing, I was surprised Jace knew a bit about horse riding <3 <3 <3

After a exciting morning with our horses and the amazing news, we decided to head back inside for have a lazy afternoon. We decided to spent the next few hours watching movies alone. We both decided we want to adopt two dogs, we have filled out the paper works now we just have to wait until they arrive, we can't wait until a flurry friends arrive   When i thought the exciting news was over, the phone rang. i was thinking to myself, hope this wasn't about our dog adoptions and about our horses. I picked up the phone, thinking there it goes again until i heard a unusual voice at the other end of the phone line, i had no idea who it was, i started to asked questions.                                                         ~~~ "Who is this and how did you get this number", i asked. "I saw your equestrian center online with the number. Though this would be a good time to tell you", the voice on the other end said. I thought must be someone who wants to sign up for horse riding lessons finally. "Are you calling about our riding lessons", i asked. "No, i been looking for someone for years and i think i found them", the voice at the end said. "Really, you think it me or my boyfriend", i asked. "What's your name", he asked; this call started to get creepy. "Rachel Stone", i replied. "Rachel, i been looking for you for years and i want to tell you-", he paused; what did he want to tell me?, "-Your my younger sister". WHAT!! I had a older brother! I was told he was dead. A lie i had to live with for my life, not even my parents told me my brother was alive if they did know and i had a bad relationship with them. Please don't tell me i was dreaming.                                                   ~~~ After i hanged up the call and place my phone on the coffin table in the living room. I broke down into tears when i realise i did have a older brother but i never knew him, i was told i had a sibling older than me. I couldn't wait to meet him and get to see his face. Jayden comforted me and told me "Everything was going to be alright". After not seeing my older brother for years, i was afraid to tell him what i was doing and tell him i was engaged.

                             Lazy Day (Part 2) (Main First Facility)                                               { Back to mine PoV} I woke up in the morning ready to train our horses ready for our 2017 show season, i got out of bed and got into my normal causal clothes to begin with, i walked outside, seeing the sun was out and it was too hot to even exercise the horses. i watched half of the horse, seeing they were lazying about in the fields, some being sleepy and some being protective of our horses. I watched three of our favourite pairs ~ TJS Hot Legz and TJS Niramah, TJS Brizzy and TJS Majestic, TJS/SWE Bella and TJS Chesterfield getting close to each other. But what got me worry was TJS Majestic and TJS Chesterfield being too protective over the mares and scaring the other horses. This was going on for months now. TJS/SWE Bella and TJS Chesterfield started to be stubborn with us ever since Chesterfield arrived at the Equestrian center, too stubborn to let us ride them. Jayden came outside after he noticed i was with the horses and he suggested to call a vet over, so i decided to call a vet over to see what was going on with the two mares since both of them started to be stubborn a few months ago and the stallion being protective. Jayden and I took the two mares into their stalls to separate them away from the stallions. The vet arrived when we were placing the horses in the stall, we waited for a hour to hear back from the vet to see what was going on with them. It was confirmed both mares ~ TJS Brizzy and TJS/SWE Bella were both pregnant and expecting foals, we were told don't know how many foals each, could be one or two, but we were told they been pregnant for three months. So exciting news this morning and we couldn't be happier <3 A bit of a surprise for us, now we have to get a eye on TJS Nimarah since she starts to be stubborn and TJS Hot Legz has become really protective, we happy TJS Hot Legz has found his long last mate <3
