a life update from the grove's...

its been a minute since you've seen the fam last (fuck college).

the family has been going through a rough patch as rowan and aleah found out they were having a baby. they knew there was no way they could raise a kid in high school so they contemplated not going through with the pregnancy until carter and madeline offered to adopt the baby and raise her as their own. so aleah moved in and gave birth to little ciara grove and lived with the family for a few months until her and rowan enevidably broke up. she moved back with her family and has been around every once in awhile to check in on the baby.

after carter and madeline adopted ciara they also hit a rough patch in their relationship. they weren't prioritizing their love life since there was too much going on outside of it so they decided to start going to cupid's counseling which has been helping a lot.

its been a few years since alex gave up her custody of junia and rowan. for the longest, carter didn't have the time or energy to do anything for him. he worked double shifts at the hospital to provide for the kids, he spent his off time teaching them and caring for them.

rowan recently started school and carter found a nanny that junia simply adores. alex reached back out to carter asking to see the kids more often which carter negotiated down to one night a week and never having both kids together since alex wasn't able to handle them both.
