I'm building a Latin American neighborhood in TS2!

There are not many, if not none, Latin American neighborhoods for TS2, so I decided to change that and started building my own one, which will be inspired by various cities around LatAm.

💭Inspiration

I started gathering images and created this mood board as an inspiration for the layout and eventually the buildings.

✍️Planning the 'hood

After gather some inspiration I used the Sims 2 HoodPlanner by greatcheesecakepersona.

This tool helped me so much to plan the layout and flip it, since TS2 flips the map you create in SimCity 4.

I added some placeholder decor, I'm so happy with how it turned out :')

Now I need to work on the final decor, and start building, it's going to take some time but I'm sure it will be so much fun!

No CC Starter for 6 Sims!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing with you this speedbuild for a starter house that can easily be used for six sims, I built it with that in mind because I need it for one of my families that recently had twins 😅

I did not use custom content (not even my default walls lol) and the price of the lot is 17,760 which leaves some simoleons left for basic furniture. Both bathrooms and the kitchen are fully furnished and it has 3 bedrooms in the second floor.

I built a cemetery for my custom 'hood since my first sims are starting to die :(

I was going for an old vibe as opposed to a creepy one.

The chapel is functional as I hold my funerals there.

4t2 - Ravasheen’s Hot Sim Disguise Clutter Set

I fell hopelessly in love with this set when I saw it, and had to have it, it’s too adorable!

A note - the two wall caddy shelves (one with the hanging shower deco and one without) do not have slots. I was going to attempt to add them, but I opened a tutorial and my brain said “no <3″. Already hit my quota for learning new things this week I suppose. Plus although it is fiddly, I like the flexibility of placing the deco with OMSP’s (which is what I did with the one next to the sink in the preview pic). I may attempt to add slots at a later date though, when my brain is more up to onboarding more new info.

Other than that, everything is categorized as Deco> Misc and is between $5-$50. All recolours for all items, plus I added/tweaked a couple for the shampoo and conditioner bottles.

Vanessa Dining Decor - 4t2 Conversion of Soloriya's Kitchen Decor

Hi everyone! Today I have another conversion to share with you (this is too much power for me to have lol), @soloriya's charming Vanessa Dining Decor set. Details and download below!

I love kitchen clutter! It's so homey and pleasing and I just cannot resist...which is why when I saw this set, I immediately went to work converting it. There are 9 items with varying numbers of recolors:

Moonwood Garden - 4t2 Set Conversion

Happy Saturday everyone! IT'S FINALLY FINISHED! 😭

I absolutely fell in love with @myshunosun's beautiful, beautiful Moonwood Garden set when I first saw it, and having converted one whole object recently, I figured, hey, why not? 😂 Let's just say I learned a lot along the way (like that slots really are little bastards).

There are 12 objects with varying numbers of recolors. The original set came with 13, but I was unable to make the floral arranging table functional (I tried, believe me, but it's just beyond my skills at the moment), so there's only the decorative version.

The table has 5 slots (only on the top surface; you'll need to use OMSPs or @lamare-sims' Shiftable Everything to use the lower shelves), the ladder shelf has 3, the 4-tile planter has 4 and the 2-tile planters has 2. Some plants look better than others in the planters; you can also place plants first and then place the planters over them with moveObjects on for fuller garden beds. The single bag of soil is repo'd to the double bags.

I only swatched the wood, doing everything wasn't really practical here. There is a numbered version included with the download:

🎼 4t2 simmify music nook by myshunosun 🎸

happy friday! here is a wonderful set by @myshunosun, perfect for any sim but especially those with an affinity for music. 

i learned a lot converting this set, from tackling my demons (slots), to adjusting the footprint, to finally adding shadows, to figuring out how to make the guitar amp invisible. speaking of the guitar, it’s cloned from crispsandkerosene’s acoustic guitar, which requires argon’s hack. the storage unit is cloned from thimblesims’ dawn living storage unit c. it has 8 slots, so i just duplicated the top middle slot to make up for it. i found if you want to add two stack of LPs on the bottom of the storage unit like shown above, its best to turn them around. it won’t flicker when moving the camera that way for some reason. that should be it, enjoy! ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა

UPDATE 9/14/22: fixed meshes so you don’t have to find the sweet spot lmao. also fixed the mesh texture on the plant to be black (bc i had pink twice and barely found out myself). also resized the record player by like 1cm shh.

4t2 Clothes Racks from Dream Home Decorator

I love ts2 but not its sad and flat clothes racks:))

These are cloned from ts2 The Great Dress Rack and I think they can only be found on community lots - Misc (correct me if I’m wrong)

Same function and animation as the original one

Fix for broken "Break Up" Want

my first ever mod, a fix for broken maxis coding, this case being the "Break Up" want. This want is now appears in the wants panel for adults and elders sims of all aspirations, instead of not being rolled at all

Download here conflicts with any custom WantTrees package, future revision with other wants fixes coming soon

Notes: The want does not appear originally because no ages (adult, elders , teens, children etc.) are checked on the panels, and only two of the three packages have any aspirations checked (romance and family) with the third having not having ANYTHING checked, so yeah. Additional special thanks to @simnopke for finding the wants that relate to it and setting up the foundation of this mod. @lamare-sims for noticing that my dumbass uploaded the wrong thing O_O , it got lost cause this upload went through 4 revisions so far (not including the mashup with dreadpirate's want trees)
