The year was 2009. I was transitioning from my LJ based on a specific sims family (Wylde Sims) to a LJ based on more generic sims. I googled words with SIM in it and chose this because it was short and available.

How did you guys come out with your simblr name?

Mine is because I wear specs and I am pretty confident with my fashion style *clear throat* so I come out with this name “spectacledchic”.  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It’s 2015, you open your game and are greeted by a bright ass white loading screen, you go into one of the two neighborhoods and create a sim with clayifed hair, mayberrie’s blush, all your furniture is in the eversims ever so lovely palette and is barely maxis match, sims with elf ears as far as the eye can see, it’s clear skies and sunny because of an eternal summer- weather doesn’t exist, you put your screenshots on a PSD that makes it so saturated you feel like you’re about the blow your eyeballs out and start all over— simpler times.

i stumbled across »this« converted set while on the hunt for comfy looking sofas and it desperately needed some fun, bright swatches – so here we are!

i have decided to include the meshes as they were originally made by EA for TS3 [with the exception of the loveseat add-on by mutske] and the original TS4 conversions are ad-walled. many thanks to veranka for converting them, though.

Half the couches in the game don’t look like they’d been comfortable to fall asleep on while reading.

Speaking of. I’d love a couch or bed with stuff piled up on a corner

- a chair in the bedroom that is piled with clothes not dirty enough to be washed but clean enough to be worn again

- a plastic bag full of other plastic bags

- sofas and chairs that are a little scratched up by the cat

- layered rugs that are 3d a bit messed up (actually i’ll just make this now)

- sink full of dishes and a shitty dish rack

- normal sofas and not like rich people furniture that looks like playground equipment

-a rack full of disheveled shoes and a pair of adidas slippers u wear to go get groceries or get the mail

-a rack for the back of the bathroom door that has stuff on it

-an out of control bathroom sink with tons of face products on it.
