And here are the two known dark sides! (there might be a third but you’ll just have to see)
Heartbreak- Heartbreak is Love’s brother and polar opposite. He’s still recovering from Agatha (Simon’s ex for those who don’t know), even though literally everyone has told him about Baz. His animal trait (that only dark sides have) is a Cuckoo.
Lies- Basically Simon’s version of Janus (Thomas’ Deceit from Sanders Sides! Also yes they have names) only he looks like Simon and has a different kind of vibe. He’s probably vegetarian, his animal trait is a snake (like Janus, I’m sorry I couldn’t think of anything else) and he can ballroom dance.

This post is for Carry On fans who don’t know what Sanders Sides is and vice versa
Carry On is a book by Rainbow Rowell that (to sum it up and destroy all the character development) is just gay Harry Potter. The main characters are Simon Snow and Baz Pitch (which is short for Tyrannus Basilton Grimm-Pitch). It’s very gay and very good.
Sanders Sides is a web series on Youtube by Thomas Sanders where Thomas’ personality is humanized and are imaginary beings called Sides. There are 6 known sides in total at the moment and hopefully one more to be revealed! There are light sides and dark sides, which are seen as good and bad respectively.

First post of the blog, so a good way to start is to introduce you to Simon’s main four!
We have Passion: Simon’s love for sour cherry scones and jeans! He has the biggest wings of all the sides and is the most likely to start a fight. He is also Simon’s Creativity and Inspiration.
Logic: The only sensible one. He only dresses in Watford Uniform, is the only one who wears glasses (not counting Love’s sunglasses) and is Simon’s common sense.
Love: The bisexual maniac that is Love. He spent ages trying to convince the others on Simon’s feelings for Baz, but they didn’t listen until the jeans incident. His brother is Heartbreak, who you’ll meet in another post.
Suspicion: Suspicion is the one who was always certain that Baz was plotting and evil and a vampire and trying to kill Simon. He’s also Simon’s fight or flight instincts and his anxiety.
