A few new mods now available + Updates!
Since it's been a while since I've updated here with mod updates, here's a list of some of the stuff I've recently released on Patreon.
Burglar Alarm Calls Police by Default - Self-explanatory
Keep Items after Autonomous Purchase - Allows you to stock your small business once and then never again!
Rider's Retreat Lot Trait - A lot trait that helps your sims gain Horse Riding skill faster
Also, a few mods that were outdated from Tumblr have been checked/updated and re-released on Patreon.

I'm going to keep transferring stuff over, but whew. It's a lot of stuff.
I also did a bunch of updates for the Businesses and Hobbies patch, so everything on Patreon should now be working.
Finally, I did a bunch of reworking of my Tumblr page (especially the Mod Index) to try to make it clearer which files are up-to-date and which ones aren't.

A Quick Reminder
Hey all! This is just a quick reminder that I am not currently updating all of the mods on my Tumblr page. My goal is to move everything that I'm maintaining to Patreon and continue updating them there. The stuff that is there now is currently being checked/maintained at a much higher frequency. So if you're wondering why all my stuff is broken, it's because you're looking in the wrong place. Sorry for not making that clearer.
I also did realize that my tumblr theme may have been causing some confusion because it only listed the month and day for posts - making it appear that some things had been updated recently when they very much were not. I just fixed that, so hopefully it won't continue to be an issue.
I will keep the mods that are here available for now, though, since I know some people download them and tweak them for themselves and keep using them, even when they aren't, uh, super functional. I may do something with them once I've had a chance to sift through them and decide what to keep working on.

Hello, i downloaded your mod Better NPC sales stall. Do you plan to extend the functionality of the mod to the late stuff pack of Crystall creation for example? Best regards
I would like to update it to include more stuff. Unfortunately, due to the whole thing basically being in one giant file it is kind of a nightmare to maintain and add to. So, I can't say I will do that soon. It is on my to-do list, though.
If you want a way to buy Crystal Creations jewelry in the meantime, I'd recommend you take a look at my Tartosa Tweaks and Henford Tweaks mods, which both include ways to buy a few pieces and styles of jewelry. Those do require other packs, though, so I know they won't work for everyone. :/

Hi, i'd like to know if you are going to do hiders and replacements for any other world, like newcrest (the pirate ship is really annoying). Thanks
I don't intend to do any new hider and replacement sets at the moment. Although I do have a tiny addition to the Sulani one ready for release at some point soon, it's nothing big. However, I highly recommend you try @pandorasimbox's Timeless for Newcrest hiders and maybe look at @simverses Pirate Ship Default.

Hello, sorry to bug you. I am going through my folder after the patch. I was wondering if your wild horses lot trait was okay after the recent patch?
I am late to respond, but I can confirm it is OK for 1.113.291 (the most recent patch as of 3/11/25) with the slight exception of now generating horses with human names. 🫠 Not sure when that happened, but it is, indeed, happening. If it doesn't bother you, it should otherwise be OK.

Hello! I just found your historical overrides and you are an absolute lifesaver. Do they require the Timeless mod as a base? Do you intend to make more worlds?
Hi! Thank you, I'm glad they're useful to you! No, they do not require the Timeless mod, and can be used together with it. I may do more adjustments for future worlds, yes, but it depends on how much would need to be replaced in order to make a usable medieval or regency-ish world (those are the historical themes my gameplay tends to revolve around these days). I'm not a mesher, so there are often limits to what I can accomplish with the existing in-game assets. :/

Hello! first of all thank you so much for all your mods! I have been a fan of them for literal years and I am really happy to see you sharing some more of your stuff recently. I hope you are doing well. I was wondering if you knew that Madame Ria has retired the OTG Typewriter mod. I think I noticed you mentioning the mod some time ago and was curious about if you would consider taking it over for updates now that she has officially retired it? No pressure at all of course.
I know you asked this forever ago, but in case anyone else has a similar question/request: @ilexsims has taken up this project. There's also the very nice Parchment Computer mod by @janesimsten that might be of interest to you!

Assuming you're asking about the hider mods; yes, they should be compatible. Even if we edit the same files the worst thing that would happen is that the item is extra hidden... ;)

I'm not planning on making hiders for Windenburg because there are already hiders that have been done by other people in the community (as well as a whole medieval-style re-do of the world) for that world. I was just looking over your Sims 4 PackIDs resource. How does one search for basegame DST images in the Game File Cruiser? It's not on your list.
Honestly, these days it's easier to use Lot51's Image Search tool to search for something via keyword (if it doesn't have an EP/GP/etc. tag - starts with "InGame", it's Base Game) and grab the instance number that way. Put that into the Game File Cruiser's instance number box (make sure DST Image is checked) and you can add the image to your package or export it that way. Game File Cruiser is good for exporting stuff, but less good at doing your initial filtering.

Hi, I have an in-game problem that I haven't read about anywhere else. This occurs with or without mods or CC installed. Werewolves that visit the Moonwood Collective hangout are adults only. I used to have a bunch of young adults and elders that would visit, but no more. Is this something that could potentially be fixed with a mod? It's certainly something I would be interested in having. Thank you for your time.
Yeah, it probably could be fixed with a mod. I'm guessing something is probably off in the SimFilters that are being used to choose sims for this Situation (or maybe it's an issue with Situation weights). I'll look into it a bit, and if I can figure something out, I'll post it.

I am terribly sorry for bothering you, especially now that you've retired from the modding business, but I seem to have trouble hiding the street signs in Britechester which have been such an eyesore for me. I followed the instructions in the tutorial for all the signs I could find in the debug menu and placed the overrides in the "Mods" folder, but they still appear in the game. I know it's a long shot, but do you have any idea what the problem might be?
I think it's been a while since you've asked this, so you may have already figured it out. If not, could you provide a bit more info?
At a glance, though, I'm wondering if this might be related to this issue this other person was having with Sims4Studio lately. Basically, not all of the Object Definitions/Catalog files are being carried over sometimes, so you may hide one swatch successfully, but end up with other swatches of the same object still being unhidden.

Hey there! I've been using your guide with regards to hiding debug shell deco buildings in the Sims 4, and it's helped me out with hiding unsavory world objects so far! However, I've been trying to hide the debug shell buildings in Tartosa and I'm running into an issue where only one version or swatch of the shell buildings are being removed, while the others persist. I hate to be a bother, but I'm hoping you might be able to help in some way.
Hmm, yeah I think this might be a bug with the current version of Sims 4 Studio. It doesn't seem to always include the extra swatches of debug buildings when you try to override them...
To get to these files, you'll have to go to Tools > Game File Cruiser and then search for them there. It's probably easiest to look for the Object Definition first (check the Object Definition box and then sort alphabetically and/or filter). The ones you're looking for will have the same name as the one you got from override but then usually something like "_set2" or "_set3" instead of "_set1" at the end.
From there if you want to grab the Object Catalog file, too, it's just a matter of using the instance number, and most other files you might want to mess with are usually linked by instance to the definition or catalog. Add those to your package and edit as desired.

This is a big one (at least for people annoyed by sims eating things they shouldn't be eating, like me) - and fixes a couple of very frustrating known issues: sims selecting ingredients rather than cooked meals when getting leftovers or trying to auto-solve hunger, and a fix for sims who dislike cooking not being able to grab quick meals or microwave snacks.
