Hello~! I haven't posted in literal years, but I've been playing a lot more Sims lately, and have been inspired to share some more of those stories again. I'm not great at remembering to take screenshots, but I'm planning to stream the start of my Sims 2 legacy, now that The Sims 1 & 2 have been rereleased. The Sims 2 Pack Legacy Challenge!

Over the last couple of days, I've been learning how to use Notion to create a Sims 2 legacy tracker for myself. I plan to start streaming my legacy challenge on Tuesdays to YouTube and Picarto. I was heavily inspired by Rosannatxt's Sims 4 Pack Legacy Challenge, which she created a Notion template for. The goals/story ideas were taken from Mod The Sims & @resurrectonomitron's Lepacy Challenge. Check out the original posts if you'd like!

It's searchable on Notion and you should be able to duplicate this template into your account and easily use it yourself!

Here is the third and final part of my Kasparian Legacy Family Home(tm) tour, this time showing the office, living room, and back porch! Like I said in part one, this is an old and unfinished build. The second part of my Kasparian Legacy Family Home(tm) tour, which shows off the kitchen and dining room! Both have archways that open up to the central area. It’s been a long time since I’ve played Sims 4 and even longer since I played my legacy family, but I was going through some old screenshots and found these! Building and designing has always been hard for me, so I spent a lot of time building my Kasparian Legacy Family Home(tm) to practice.

I usually fit together pre-build rooms and redesign them, but I wanted to try to do everything myself this time around. Even though it’s not finished, I’m really pleased with how it turned out. Click on the full-sized pictures to see the room captions!

It’s a happy day when Romy finally has enough simoleons to get a wall and some more necessities on her lot (in addition to a few work-related tools laid out for nefarious purposes). It makes it easier to go out on the town with friends and it’s how she ends up meeting Joaquin Le Chien, an outgoing goofball of a music lover. They immediately click and became fast friends. However, the more time they spend together, the more Romy realizes how much her feelings for him have grown. They make it through their young-adulthood as close as ever, and working hard in their respective careers they found themselves slowly falling into a relationship together. But it isn’t until after Romy finds herself pregnant that they decide it’s the right time to tie the knot in a small, private ceremony at the courthouse. A few short months later, their child is born.

I don’t have time to make nice edits, so it’s starting off simple and sparse. It also starts off fairly standard: no money, no place to sleep or eat, and a very slow and tedious flow of money to buy the necessities. 

Though Romy’s lived most of her life in comfort, she always knew she needed her parents completely out of her life. A chance at a fresh start. That opportunity came when an estranged godparent of hers passed away and left Romy a large, water-side lot and an heirloom suit of armor.

It’s a rough change, but one she’s gotta get through.

It’s been a while since I’ve played sims, but after getting a new laptop a few months back and also giving up on my old save because it was bugged to hell, I’ve decided to try again at the legacy challenge! I’ll be using Hilliee’s Legacy Scoresheet to keep track of my points.

Our founder this time is Romy Tellez, an ambitious, kleptomanic perfectionist whose favorite color is clearly black lol. The only mods I have on her right now are for her skin, lipstick, moles, and those earrings. All these new expansions and packs have such nice #looks, so no modded clothes for now. 

After leaving her cushy life to start fresh with only the clothes on her back, Romy has fallen into a life of crime to pay the bills. But it’s a life she’s come to accept with open arms - even her life aspiration is to be a Public Enemy!

Tired of the repetition that had injected itself into her work life, Krysta was glad for some vacation days off. It was on one of those days, out fishing and collecting, that she met Marcus Flex. She wasn’t sure how it happened, but they managed to strike up conversation and exchange numbers. He had seemed harsh and standoffish at first (with only woohoo on the mind), but as they spent more and more time together, his charm really came to win her over.

She frequently found herself drifting off into daydreams, breaking appliance after appliance (and letting multiple bowls of cereal go soggy), with thoughts of him. Upon returning to work, focusing on her second major case seemed impossible and the more time she spent with him in the following weeks only made things worse. She realized that the sooner she dealt with this -- her feelings, that is -- the better. Even if it resulted in rejection.

The following months had been rather uneventful for Krysta, as she dedicated much of her time to work. Eventually climbing the ranks up to a detective, she experienced that the process of going through her own investigations was a lot more difficult and rewarding than she initially expected it to be.

Despite her rapid work successes, however, Krysta was beginning to realize how little others seemed to respect her. She was convinced her co-workers talked behind her back and that townies crossed the street whenever she was on a stroll. It was frustrating. Lonely, too. But she managed to cope with it by occupying much of her time trolling forums and comment sections all across the web. 

She frequently prank called and sent chainmail to those she felt slighted by and even made some long distance friendships with other online trolls (she loved collecting their postcards). It was comfortable for a while, but she knew something was missing from her life.

[I decided I would try my hand at a prettacy challenge to give me a bit of a break from my Emery Legacy household! To enjoy my time playing more, I didn’t really set myself any harsh rules and lifespans will be long.]

We start this story with Krysta Novak, a self-assured, evil, and insane young woman. Having recently moved to Windenburg from a land far, far away she took up a career in the detective field as a cadet despite her lifetime aspiration of being a chief of mischief (admittedly a lot of the things she wanted from life were rather conflicting).

While the lot she lived on was the smallest of the island properties, Krysta had big plans for it. She was even able to design herself a decent kitchen of her liking with the remainder of her money. Humble beginnings back in her hometown had her wanting for a lot, especially with the better opportunities that this area seemed to provide. And while not exactly a materialist, she did still want to surround herself in comfort and collections of all kinds. She had yet to really settle herself into life here, as customs were so much different, but she was excited for what would lie ahead.

The third and final part of the Emery legacy gen3 house tour concludes with a look at the porch and basement. For the longest time a lot of the stuff was just on the grass, so I figured I could make things look a little nicer with a big porch area that could be for parties and whatnot.

The stairs to the basement are behind the bar, and lead down into the prebuilt rooms that are unlocked when a sim reaches the top of their career. There are only two so far, but I plan to have the whole first basement layer be made up of the unlocked rooms. Maybe with a cool underground garden in the middle of them!

Part two of the Emery legacy home tour shows off the four bedrooms! I forgot to take a picture of the hallway off from the kitchen that connects them cause it’s not very interesting (though it was a major pain in the ass to add onto the house).

The master bathroom actually connects the master bedroom to the rest of house, which has caused a lot of embarrassing situations. It’s one of the major things I plan to fix in the next major house remodeling once gen4 comes along.

Once again, most of the rooms are prebuilts that I edited, but I’m still really proud of the effort I’ve put into it!

Here’s part one of the Emery legacy home tour! This is how it looks currently, at the start of gen3. Once gen4 comes around and the family has more money, I plan to do a major redesign of the whole house! It’s just getting far too cramped in there (certainly not enough bathrooms).

It’s the first house that I’m really putting effort into building, and I’m loving how it’s turned out even if it’s not the best. This first part just shows off the entryway, living room, first bathroom, kitchen, and dining room. Pretty much all of them are prebuilt rooms that I edited.

I’m partway through my first serious try at the sims legacy challenge, and I’m having much more fun than I expected! Unfortunately I don’t have any earlier screenshots, but these are the gen3 kids (there was a third but she drowned soon after becoming a teen, oops). 

The oldest up there is Damien Emery. As a teen he generated with the heterochromia accessory I had downloaded, so I went with it. Then there’s Rachel Emery, who has her father, Noah’s (gen2 heir), purple eyes and skin tone. Dunno where her hair colour came from lol. I wanted to make her the heir to keep the purple eyes going, but I’ve found no suitable spouses and she seems to just want to get into her blossoming writing career. So Damien it is!
