A small detail about Yagami Hikari and Taichi growing up that I really like in 02 is the way their beds work. In the first series, Hikari and Taichi shared a room and slept in bunk beds.

Hikari was top bunk, Taichi was bottom bunk.

Three years later in 02, they now have their own separate rooms and separate beds.

Hikari has a raised bed with books and shelves in the space beneath. Taichi has what looks like a bunk bed but the "top bunk" is a storage compartment for his things.

Even though they're in separate rooms and separate beds, they both still somehow manage to be the "top bunk" and "bottom bunk" of their respective rooms. They're older and more independent but the habit is still there; They just now put stuff into the physical space where their sibling used to be.

It's such a fascinating detail.

and polluted water is what people drink to stay alive. The outside is full of garbage and insects, and the inside is full of sweat and gasping breath. 🥹

Here, people die slowly, not only from rockets but also from the sea of tents, from thirst, hunger, and the daily, merciless oppression🥺🥺
