I think the reason why other people don't like skam that much is because they try so hard to compare it to other tv shows. They all deal with teenage problems and portray it differently. Skam manages to not be too crude while keeping it realistic (eating disorders, lgbtq, mental illnesses or drugs), and it also speaks out on important things like feminism, sexual assault and islamophobia, which is why I love it so much. A show doesn't have to be way over the top to be good.

Watch S1 & S2 then you can talk about Vilde.

You can tell who was just here for the gay by how they reacted to the s3 finale. People who get the show (regardless of their favorite season, where they are from, or when they started watching) could understand what Isak was saying to Eva about taking his relationship day by day whereas the fans who just like cute gays wanted him to say he and Even were getting married and then wanted to watch them have sex

As an American I can say that Skam is the best high school show I've ever seen. It is realistic, funny, heartbreaking at times, socially aware, and has a talented cast. Each season is so well acted and the cast plays off one another so well. It's such a breathe of fresh air and a truly special show.

To the people saying they're worried that s4 might be about Chris Penetrator, don't. Idk why but I'm almost 100% sure it'll be about sana (at least I hope so). He wasn't even that active on this season.

I don't like William, I'm actually okay with him and Noora breaking up, I just think it was a little toxic that relationship.

I have such a crush on Noora, she's absolutely beautiful and I like her personality!

I kind of want season 4 to be about Jonas. The majority of people want season 4 to be about William or Chris, but I just feel like he's so unappreciated and has an interesting backstory. It would also be interesting to see his relationship with Isak from his perspective. I think it would clear up the confusion of Isak all of a sudden moving on to Even, cause I still feel like Isak has feelings for Jonas.

William ruined season two for me. Noora deserved so much better but she ended up falling for his crap. And I didn't like how she seemed so out of character after she started seeing him, like how she was lying to her friends all the time. I hope William never comes back.

I think it's ridiculous that people like that 'call your girlfriend' scene so much. It's just sad for Sonja and Emma.

I don't want Even to get this own season. I'm happy with the way things ended in third season and I'd love to see their relationship in the background. Putting them as the focus for another season might not end well and then people will just moan and groan that SKAM hurt their favorite ship. Well, if we do get an Even season and they break up, you guys asked for it.

i get annoyed by people who join the fandom just because there is a gay couple, i get it it's great and i agree! but the first two seasons are great too especially s1.

i want a 4 season to be either for sanja or chris but i feel i want chris more because i want to see him dealing with life in university/college

i am not american but european, i really like skam but honestly i haven't seen any american fans exaggerating and i think it's kinda normal that they are weirded out by our differences even in europe it happens the same, i think a person from an eastern european country would react differently to skam and the characters than a northern european person.
