It’s rare for me to wear yellow because growing up all the yellow clothing items in a 100-mile radius were horrific if they weren’t that vintage mustard shade. Then I found this baby (which not only is a Sister Jane dress, but one I got for like $30), and it changed my brain cells. It’s such a garden party dress too, especially with that fun back detail contrasting a conservative front. It’s easiest to pair with white accessories for that classy sense of balance.

I’ve decided to be incredibly vapid and draw some of my favorite fits, starting with this fun 90s Liz Claiborne dress that’s a cross between a skater & blazer dress. With the white turtleneck, pearls, & boots combination it gives pretty preppy airheaded heiress that’s bubbly and means well but also tells you to eat cake.

I need to stop designing backstory characters for a prequel for a story I haven’t even completely written yet.

I had completely forgotten I made this little sketch of Fanny Price months ago and never uploaded it...

If you ever catch me in a Jane Austen book club not looking at the people talking, it’s because their words motivated me to draw one of the characters or something. (Yes, that is literally how this doodle came to be).

“I am Astrologist Mona Megistus”.

It had to be done, if only because her design has so many fun celestial witch details and a great color scheme.

I might redraw this with her updated outfit but I’ve never been a fan of how the thigh-high + shorts combo cuts through her design, but we’ll see.

“My name is Noelle, maid of the Knights of Favonius.”

This is probably one of the weirdest outfits I’ve drawn in a hot minute. I love Noelle but nothing makes structural sense and I fought so much to get a decent visual flow this took me an entire day...

Her color palette is still top tier though. And I’ll always have a weakness for battle maids and heavily armored legs anyway.

“Outrider Amber, reporting!”

In order to sort out my love-hate relationship with the character designs of Genshin Impact, I figured I might as well draw them.

Which naturally is proving to be a ridiculously daunting task. Might as well start simple, with Amber, who apart from Traveler is probably one of the closest to game mascot along with the other core knights. And honestly, she translates really well into a lot of styles without hassle, even if you remove a lot of the little details.

I half considered trying to draw him with a slightly less anime/more historical haircut but mehhhhhh it’s technically not set on our Earth anyway.

Not me having a little fandom renaissance day--a.k.a me doing a bunch of sketches of my high school anime crushes. Besides, I never get tired of Vivaldi’s showgirl skirt, weirdly fitting and super long corset, and slashed sleeves that are attached to... something. Probably.

No parents showed up to parent-teacher conferences and I started listening to Merveilles again and I--

That and I probably *shouldn’t* be drawing Percy at work anyway.

I did a quick redraw of a HnKnA CG, since I was feeling nostalgic. It’s kinda fun since the first game has been redone with different artists, so if you think about it the remakes are actually all one massive redraw challenge. Plus it means there’s more people to compare me to oops.
