Yo, if the freshman thought Neil was insufferable before the Ravens game, then they are so not prepared to deal with him when he’s sidelined, in pain, and dealing with the fact that his beloved boyfriend was almost murdered

as painful as it was to read, neil getting his ribs fractured was so powerful

he gets interviewed and very pointedly calls the ravens out for breaking jeans ribs. then lane, presumably in retaliation, breaks neil’s ribs. and jean watches his misplaced forever partner sustain that injury all while clutching his own ribs in memory and sympathy pain, panicked for neil

jean has never had someone truly suffer with/for him before. except neil.

I can’t explain it but watching Neil Josten get his shit DEMOLISHED on the court in tgr and not being able to read about it from his point of view felt like watching a puppy get run over by a semi truck and being completely helpless to stop it
