Nightmare Before Christmas fanfiction written by me (CoronaPax/Neaksai). It follows the afterlife of recently deceased 90's kid, Annalise Grisholme, as a new arrival in Halloween. Here you will find the comic (in development stage) and accompanying artwork. Story: Skeleton Anne (opens the fanfiction.net page in a new window)

Excuse me, but have you ever seen the concept art for “The Nightmare before Christmas”?

Annalise and Nevermore at the tavern. Inspired by chapter 41 of Skeleton Anne, although that wouldn't be the only time these two go out for a drink and the drawing is of another such time.
I'm aware of how scratchy it looks. Decided I need to just draw stuff for fun and not really care about the quality too much. It's something I stress about too much in my studies, then I end up being too scared to draw anything. That not how anyone improves.

((My favorite of Burton's personal doodles and sketches))

Dicktater

Dresses Burton designed for Alexander McQueen....apparently....

Tim's perception of what Helena looked like giving birth to his children. I seriously wish scan wasn't so distorted.

Lucky.

Man w Alien hat.

Not concept art, just Tim messing around with BJ.

Pirates he designed.

Bubble baby lady

A sketch of Helena with their son Billy in Paris.

More Paris.
And finally these are two pictures I amazingly was unable to find in The Art of Tim Burton. Some guy singing and chill tentacle man who's dating my mom, I think...

Magic
THERE’S Magic in the air And mystery. There’s nonsense everywhere For you and me. The black Cat’s eyes are bright, The Moon sails by Deep in the whispering night Across the sky. The old Clock says it’s late; Near twelve he thinks. A Pumpkin on the gate Glows red and winks. The Wind says, “W-h-e-w”, around The house and goes Away without a sound, Where; no one knows. There’s Magic everywhere And in between The Fire’s flash and flare A twinkle may be seen. There’s nonsense everywhere And apples red and green; But ne’er a thought of Care This Hallowe’en.

@tricked-out I can’t write what I want to write without it being a spoiler... :(
“What happened?” the creature asked, keeping a distance.
The woman jumped at the sound of the voice. She turned around, wiping at her tears. “You have to do something,” she said so quietly it almost wasn’t audible over the sound of the waves. “Please, I can’t lose them.”
“Little wolf, I can’t bring them back to life.”
She wasn’t angry, but the pure sorrow was haunting.

Fact of the Day. Murders do happen in Halloween Town. But usually they’re public “F you”s to a fellow citizen and rarely permanent.

“The Mayor’s corpse was found in the lake this morning.”
“I guess re-election’s going to be a bitch this decade.”

Songs that make me think of different scenes, situations, and characters that are going to show up in the story. Don't take everything literally. ;) Best if shuffled.
