Always good to ascertain her role in this Showmance is still very much a non-speaking one  :D

How did you come to design Cumberbatch’s outfit for the Met Gala?

Ben and I have been working together for over ten years. Once this year’s theme was released, we started a conversation and went to the usual kind of places, but for various reasons none of them could do it. Then we were in a bit of a pickle, as time was ticking – that was three weeks ago.

Someone commented "love that it says “Sophie Hunter and Benedict Cumberbatch.” He does not just preach feminism. He lives it." From what I saw all pairings (with a man and a woman) have the women first. It wasn't a direct order from Ben to the people in charge of the met gala lol Also I feel like some people don't know what feminism actually is? -izzy

I saw that too. Yeah they could have maybe..idk..looked at the rest of the list. He’s certainly gotten everyone to think he’s a big time feminist hasn’t he? Can apparently force people to put his unknown wife’s name first on event lists (maybe he made them put all the women first!!). Too bad he can’t ever attend or promote her work, though, can he? Huh. It’s not like it happens that often, you’d think he could clear his schedule. I think he went to a party last time.

Rob Rinder is writing comments about Hiddles on the Evening Standard (LINK), which make it sound as if he’s never met Hiddles before in his life:

It’s almost as if Rinder’s job at the #weddingofmuchprivacy (and even more free publicity just as the voting for the 2015 Oscars was closing off) was making sure Ben and Weirdo would sign a legally binding contract, while Hiddles was there to pose happily for the paparazzi:

It seems that he donated his time (one day I assume?) to do voiceover for a 90-min doc a charity was making. That’s nice of him. Celebs donate their time to charity all the time. No idea what his usual fee is for something like that ($50K? $100K?) but of course it’s nice to waive it (or, put the other way, it would have been rather dickish to take it, is that news? Celeb not a total asshole!)

Benedict also is rumored to be being paid as much as $7.5mill to film DS2 (which of course takes about 5 months to do). These two things have no relation to each other whatsoever.

I blocked you and every other Sophie hate blog for several, very valid reasons. You lot bully and mock fellow fans - you spread malignant lies about a total stranger - you corrupt nice posts with disgusting and delusional comments. Some of you harass BC’s/SH’s friends and anyone associated with them. Your constant toxic behaviour is unwanted by the vast majority of the BC fandom and so naturally we want nothing to do with you and your ilk. We choose who to share content with on our platforms.

Thanks for the input, but I stand by what I said earlier:  

“Well I know that’s the justification people use, I just think blocking someone with whom you’ve never interacted is kind of cowardly. Who goes trolling through likes or reblogs just to find blogs to block??”

I certainly don’t go through the Benophie tag and block people, I don’t go to known Benophie fans’ blogs and block all their followers or people who like their posts. (and I would definitely have to go looking- there is about a .02% chance that any Benophie content would ever find its way to my dash) The only blogs I’ve ever blocked are spammy porn blogs.

In the long run, it doesn’t really matter to me if I’m blocked.  I was annoyed yesterday because I saw a cute post about BC and Zoe Saldana that I wanted to reblog, but it turned out the OP had blocked me.  It was frustrating, but I got over it.
