okay I really wanna share this X3

Still working on handler names for my Sketchies (since I wasn’t gonna actually design them, since none of them would appear if it was an actual game besides finding their names on like lil cubbies and notes), but one of my characters, Luni, I randomly got an idea of what her handler could look like so…

I quickly tried to doodle this out :3

That’s Luni (the tiny Moon Sketchie on the left), and her handler’s name was Sylvia Abergavenny (human on the right)

Staff Sketchies

Hi again, it’s Nate the Notepad here!!

Tracy gave me permission to share this, so I can finally tell you guys more about the Staff Sketchies!!

Before the place shut down, there was only four of us, with Tracy being the first!!

Fun fact, I was the second Staff Sketchie they made, but the first they intentionally made to be a Staff Sketchie :3

But there’s 2 others, which they don’t typically leave their areas, so they won’t exactly say anything here…

One of them is Rita, she’s a Rotary Phone, and she was made to handle calls towards the park, and help guests that planned to arrive!! She still stays in that phone room, though, waiting for calls that will never come again…

Then there’s Alfred, he’s a Shark!! He helped the Resource Organizers to handle the costs of materials and helped organize what they needed to get for the park, how many they needed, and how many they could afford to get. I believe he’s still keeping track of all the resources we’re running out of, despite us having no way to really replenish them anymore…

But then there’s Tracy, which her purpose is to keep the Drafts in the basement calmed, so that they didn’t break out and let the public find out about the past Sketchies that were lost…

And then there’s me, Nate!! I don’t know how to describe it, but I’m like… a therapist? But not actually a real therapist. I’m just a Sketchie created to make sure Tracy didn’t turn into a Draft, and then to also make sure Rita and Alfred didn’t either when they were created. I still keep check on them all, though.

…but yeah! That’s the Staff Sketchies!! We’re Sketchies that remain backstage, and hidden from the Guests and the other Sketchies, and we help out the rest of the Staff!!

What are Drafts..?

Well… since a certain someone shared much more information that I did on another platform…

(Sorry…)

I must now explain here what a Draft is.

A Draft is a state in the life of a Sketchie that appears twice.

The first time is before they even become a Sketchie. That blank black-and-white being with no personality I explained earlier? That’s the first time a Sketchie is a Draft. There’s no personality to them, and in that state, their personality is being built, and tested out.

If they are not liked, they get thrown away, being left as an empty husk. These have been dubbed Concept Drafts, and are usually not a threat. I say usually because there’s a chance of a Concept Drafts clinging onto that small bit of personality they had for a moment, and being sentient enough to be a threat. Especially if they feel they were replaced.

(…technically, that Spid kid we mentioned before could’ve been a Concept Draft… but they’re being treated as a Sketchie.)

Then there’s the second time a Sketchie becomes a Draft. This can happen if… they are scrapped, and thrown aside. If a Sketchie is no longer seen as needed, they’re just thrown away, and they will either slowly go insane, or they had already gone insane to be thrown away…

(That is what we call a Scrapped Draft, or as I call them, Scrapped Sketchie Drafts.)

(Though I should also warn this here too… if a Sketchie stays near a Draft for too long… their Sanity will slowly begin to deplete. That, or if a Sketchie is attacked by a Draft… or if they knew that Draft.)

What Even Are Sketchies??

Sketchies are the lovable mascots of Edupark!! They’re made with love, and are there to teach valuable life lessons!!

What else would you need to know about them? :)

I would rather tell the truth, though.

Yes, Sketchies are the mascots of the park. But they were made using paper and ink, and they were brought to life…

…but what brought them to life is a part I probably shouldn’t reveal yet.

But Sketchies aren’t people in costumes.. they’re their own living things. Well, they don’t breathe, or need to eat real food… but they’re still alive.

They’re extremely light, due to being made of paper, that even a kid could pick one up.

They don’t start off all colorful, though.

A Sketchie is made by being sketched out first, normally, on a piece of paper, to get a good design. A ‘good design’ that gets picked is not always the final design

Then, they get made on a more… 3D plane. Then they’re a blank, black-and-white (mainly white, because of the paper) being, with no personality, no soul, nothing to it.

They’re tested out a bit, and if they pass, they get colored in with paints, and used as a Mascot.

If they don’t… they’re thrown out, and it’s back to the drawing board for the Artists.

There’s not more I will say. If I feel like telling more, I’ll tell you more. But for now, that’s it.

As mentioned earlier, there are Leader Sketchies!

The Leaders (as shown in the introduction post) are basically the most relevant Sketchies, the ones that teach the most important lessons, and interact the most with the kids!! …at least they should interact a lot with the kids, but Somni is an exception.

Welcome to Edupark!!

Edupark is a wonderful place for children to learn, and to have fun in one location!!

As you learn and have fun, please meet and have fun with our mascots, the Sketchies!!

You’ll meet them each over time, but here are our Leader Sketchies!!

They’re gathered up and excited to meet new guests!!

Up in the front, we have Lexi the Lemon, and Aria the Snail!! They’re a determined duo!

Lexi likes to garden, staying by her crops, growing many healthy crops for your kids to try!! She teaches the ability to work hard, and to stay determined!!

Aria wanders around the park, and likes doing whatever she believes she can!! She teaches kids to open up more, and to learn how to get out from their shell!!

In the middle, we have Lilac the Soap Bottle, and Wallace the Water Bottle!! They… get along. Somewhat.

Lilac mainly sticks nearby the Stage and Asa’s medical tent, but will rush around to try to clean up on occasion. She teaches kids to clean up after themselves, and not leave behind messes!

Wallace wanders around as well, picking up things that are out of place, like trash or lost items, and bringing them to places they should be put. He teaches kids to keep organized, and make sure to keep an eye of where things should be, and where they’ll go!

Finally, in the back, we have Somni the Bedbug! He’s… quite the sleepy bug.

Somni isn’t seen as often, as he tends to not leave the Sleeping Quarters, despite how much we try to convince him. But when he does leave… he can be found sleeping around the park. He teaches kids to not be lazy, and to do whatever they need to!! …though he doesn’t take that advice well…

We hope you enjoy the park on your visit!!

Please remain kid-friendly There are many children that visit this park, so we wouldn’t want them to learn of things they shouldn’t at such a young age

No overnight stays!! We close during the night so our mascots can rest, so any overnight visits will count as trespassing onto private property, and you will be banned.

No unattended animals We cannot watch over everything, so if you do bring an animal, please keep a close eye on them.

Pick up after yourself!! We do not like cleaning up your messes (Wallace does), so we wouldn’t prefer you not leave any messes at all!

No weapons No real weapons are allowed into the park, as we do not want any danger brought into our park. Please keep this place safe!!

No water If water is needed, we have areas where you can get water, but please do not bring in any water of your own, and especially do not have any water around our mascots, they really don’t like the stuff!!

No cars in the park If you somehow managed to get a car, or any other large vehicle, into the park itself, we will ask you to leave permanently. There is a parking lot for your cars to stay, so please don’t drive into the park.

So please have fun in our park, as you can ask any questions that you need to know!!

and while this is the blog I’ll use to share information about the story of this (the park itself, the Sketchies, the Drafts, any lore stuff :3), this is also (somewhat) an ask blog, where you can ask the Sketchies questions (this would, lore-wise, take place after the place is shut down)

I’ll try my best to answer questions I see, but as I warned on my Main Blog before, I’m not always active on Tumblr, so because of how this site works (for some reason), any ask that I get while I’m gone gets sent to the void before I come back, so please hold you questions for when I can see them!!

Now some rules (for my sake):

No nsfw please (I’m not a fan of the stuff, and would not like to see that with my characters, so don’t send me any.)
