Andy Lewis adopted the prefix “Sketchy,” by completing many dangerous tasks many deemed as impossible, "too risky," or not "worth it." He has done stunt work safely, without serious injury, for more than 10 years. He teaches, manages festivals, and coordinates the safety of thousands of individuals annually. Sketchy Andy is also one of the most internationally known Slackliners (especially known for highline and trickline), he is as well as a professional tandem skydiving instructor, BASE jumper, high angle ropes rigger, paraglider, scuba diver, stunt coordinator, and public speaker. He has dedicated many of his waking hours in his last fifteen years to the development of Slacklining, rigging, world travel, parachuting, filming, and outdoor adventure sporting. Andy has been a sponsored athlete since 2007 and works professionally in coordination with international TV, commercials, festivals, and film, and frequently designs, produces, tests, and appears in live stunts and shows; world wide. His performance talent has made him famous within many circles and he continues to try to raise the bar for generations to come. This project required climbing, lots of bolting, losing my wallet, being wet for hours, rigging a space net to catch Haruki if he fell, and of course tensioning a trickline tight as a guitar string 5m over a raging river and rocks. Check out this link to watch the whole video.

This walk will be something I will definitely refer back to as “when it clicked.” It felt so unreal to relax and enter a beautiful meditation and stay there... for minutes on end... strolling down and endlessly long line.

This is the longest highline I have managed to get across but, I walked just about 450m of the 493m line. It was amazing, beautiful, challenging, and something I will remember forever.

One of the greatest creations ever come to light through SLACKLIFE! I for years imagined a free hanging net, net structures, and fabulous sky paradises. Now, its a reality, and its happening around the world-- even in our own back yard ;D

This is the final round of the Slack Masters in Germany from this year and we had an incredible turn out for the local contest. Its places like these where we get to not only perform for the crowd but potentially change their lives by teaching them how to slackline! Watch the madness, listen to the names of the movements, and realize-- we are finally a sport! Welcome to the world of Trickline.
