So, WWX is basically a mix of Davy Jones and Barbossa from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise here. He is a captain of mysterios ship Luanzang whose whole crew was cursed and turned into living dead after stealing some ancient treasure. Wen Ning is his first mate~

Jiang Cheng was the heir of Lotus Pier but city was burned down by Qishan's pirates. Now he is a pirate hunter and a captain of New Lotus Pier (that's a ship name).
