y’all saying BLM for one situation just don’t sit right with me, it goes beyond police brutality!!! it’s Black women dying at a higher rate during childbirth. it’s Black people being exposed to COVID-19 at a higher rate. it’s Black people being forced into low income communities. it’s Black people being denied job opportunities due to the name on their applications. it’s Black people being denied into higher institutions despite having the same qualifications as their non-Black counterparts. it’s Black people having their creations and ideas stolen without being given credit simply because a good percentage of society still believes in 2020 that Black people are not creative enough or smart enough or skilled enough. this isn’t just about police brutality. this is deeper than that.

Y'all here's the tea about fireworks

- the chemicals in them harm humans and pets

*copper(blue)- linked to causing cancer because of the dioxin

*barium(green)- used as a type of poison and is radioactive

Other dangerous heavy metals/chemicals in fireworks

*Cadmium, lithium, antimony, rubidium, strontium, lead, and potassium nitrate

All of what I just listed cause respiratory issues which we don't need more of

- they contribute to environmental pollution

Not only is this because of the waste they leave behind its also because of the smoke they leave too which can result in AIRBORNE ARISNIC

If you are in the valley like I am and have traveled at all you know the second you leave you can finally breathe especially during the week of the 4th of July

Again not only does it effect your air it effects your water for miles. It has been proven that the chemicals and metals in the firework itself contaminates water in the air and on the ground

- your neighbors could have sensory issues/auditory issues

As someone who has very intense auditory processing issues fireworks are a absolute trigger for everything.

Another thing that is very close to home for me. Even the smoke off of others yards sets some peoples asthma or other respiratory issues off.

No but really they are super fire prone and idk about u I don't think anyone really wants to set shit on fire and get finned/arrested.

Fr guys please be mindful of your neighbors and the eco system so before you strike the match think. And if you really need your fireworks Disney has been doing research/has engineered more eco and human friendly fireworks. I know Disney isn't super accessible to most but just please be mindful and maybe make it a big thing to see fireworks instead of an annual thing.

What just happened on CNN? Im at work and so wasn’t somewhere I could watch

Sure I’ll sum up.

So there was a very good peaceful protest by.... Lafayette Park? Right outside the White House. They were chanting, they had multiple reporters in the crowd, it was fucking CHILL, people were waiting for Trump to do a speech in the Rose Garden.

Then, out of nowhere, truly NOWHERE, the cops closed in from three directions and threw gas into the crowd. They used rubber bullets on the crowd IMMEDIATELY. One dude told the reporter “They don’t care about new, move.” They drove out the totally fucking peaceful, pre-curfew protestors.

They moved them all out, and Trump started speaking, and you could hear the fucking gas going off over his speech. CNN fucking did a splitscreen to show the peopple being shoved back as the motherfucker stood up there and said he would protect our rights and would mobilize the military against people.

Then back to the reporters, and everyone was forced further and further away. One woman on a bike told the reporter “They are getting the water cannons ready, you wanna move.”

TURNS OUT.

ALL OF THIS.

WAS BECAUSE TRUMP WANTED A PHOTO OP AT THE CHURCH ACROSS THE STREET. HE WANTED THEM OUT OF THE WAY SO HE COULD STAND WITH A BIBLE IN FRONT OF A CHURCH.

Even CNN is calling him a dictator, at 7PM.

Then the Illinois governor came out and called him a racist, xenophobic, misogynistic failure.
