as an update: I still don't have access to my laptop, which means I don't have access to my photo editor, or my map files, or my steam, and therefore Skyrim. Any posts I make until I update on that will be primarily guesses, based off my own knowledge and using Skyrim Interactive Map.

Hey sorry to bother, but do you know if the trailer for Skyrim (dragonborn being chased by a dragon, leaping over a fallen tree, running into a cliff to finally face the dragon) has a equivalent location ingame? I remember thinking I have found it multiple times, but it was never quite that.

unfortunately it doesnt seem like it corresponds to an actual in-game location :( my best bet is right outside helgen, based on this shot we get of bleak falls barrow:

which seems to be at that angle. so I think the best match is this cliff just north of helgen. unfortunately its not an exact match, though

i did find a reddit post that speculated it might've been on one of the jerral mountains overlooking bleak falls barrow, though!
