I feel like chatgpt came around and everyone immediately forgot what they were doing to get stuff done before. like writing centers, extensions, extra help, templates, office hours, beta readers, random generators, and art and writing prompts have all existed for ages. even if you were cheating there's always been sparknotes, photomath, copying, paying someone else to do it, faking that your grandma died, and whatever. all of that stuff is more reliable and doesn't fuck over the planet. and you might actually learn something

It wasn't, but that doesn't mean I was disappointed! On the contrary, this is a very adorable story and I love Lan Wangji's musings about him being a father and the happy end he gets with Wei Wuxian. Excerpt: His father was dead. The man was nothing but a name in the family registry and an absence that some part of him would always resent. His mother was a long-dead prisoner. A caged bird. A trapped woman. Lan Wangji would never repeat his father’s mistakes. No. Lan Wangji would never be a father. Damian: If you can beat him in a game of your choosing, he will train you to be Robin. If you lose, you are eaten. I beat him in a classic fencing game. He's quite good with swords, but he wasn't very good with the sport itself.

Tim, standing next to him: Yeah, I beat him at a memory card game. I like totally cheated, but I'm too old for him to eat now, so ot doesn't matter.

Damian, nodding: Yes. The worst part of the job is disposing of failed Robins bones. He usually sucks them clean and leaves them all over the floor.

Tim: Yeah, its messy. But after you hit, like 15 he stops trying to eat you, so that's cool.

Damian: I have not yet reached 15. I'm still in danger. If you have more questions, ask Nightwing, as he was the first to avoid being eaten.

I thought it's best to upload them together again since I wanted to make clear the POV on the picture is from the other person's eyes. Marc noted Nathaniel's lineart and dynamic poses back in Reverser. He is a writer, so I stuck to the main features that stick out on Nathaniel, those you would describe first in fiction (his hair, his eyes, his freckles and the splotches on his clothes.) While the rest is monochrome, his pose is still dynamic and strong. I still kept a messier lineart style in some places for Nathaniel's lack of impulse control haha While I think that Nathaniel would obviously see all the colors radiating from Marc, typical rose-tinted glasses view. Idk if it was on purpose, but the moment Marc and him became friends and started to work on comics, Nathaniel's comics were suddenly in color opposed to just lineart. Idk if it was meant to mean smth, but I'll headcanon it as such. All in all, I wanted Marc to look soft and gentle and warm <3

I did not predict Marc’s parents at all but Nath? Flip em around and it was close enough lol but ughhhhh I'm just sooo excited. I've got a test so I can't screech about everything I loved about the episode but I loved it.

Oh oh ohhhh if you somehow saw this through the 'no season 6' filter sorry but!! That reveal? Chef's kiss!!!! I'm ahhhhhhhhh I need to see how they treat each other in the following episodes. I neeeeeeed to see

I think anyone that studies medicine with Damian would lowkey hate his ass.

Not in a mean way, but in a petty why-aren't-you-struggling-like-me type of way. I mean, thanks to Robin and the league Damian is light years ahead of everyone on terms of experience and it would show.

Half the class is puking their guts out the first time they see a patient with an open fracture. Damian has been there, done that, seen that and worse. He's eating m&m's in the back.

They're all practicing making sutures until late. Damian is like "No, I don't need to join you. I could suture with my eyes closed" and then when someone is like "prove it, rich-boy" that mf actually blindfolds his eyes and sutures perfectly using four different techniques.

He also passes everything with flying colors! Because of course, the guy can't just be rich, good looking and famous, he has to be smart too.

And it just gets worse when he starts his actual residency.

Nothing shakes him! Thirty hour shifts? He doesn't even yawn. Extreme stress during a surgery gone awry? Damian is the one telling the other members of the surgical team to stay calm. Violent patient? They don't even get to call security, Damian has the guy pinned already.

And it would be easier to not get jealous of him if he somehow was a souless blood sucking asshole. But Damian is a good person, awkward and standoffish but always willing to help. He's there for whatever people need. He aids nurses, listens to patients, conforts victims. He sits with people for the bad news and when someone dies he gets this sad faraway look that shows he cares.

And it's just so unfair.

Dick waking up at 3 a.m. to a phone ringing loudly. The only night off he takes from Nightwing. He couldn't be grumpier.

Dick: What do you want? Money? A check? My soul?

The other end of the line was silent for a few seconds.

Tim: Hiiii to my favorite older brother

Tim: Ey it's not only me!

Jason: Hi dickie!

Dick remained silent, as he assimilated everything and fought against sleep.

1 hour later Dick is at the Gotham police station, taking his brothers out while scolding them like never before (mostly for wake him up).
