The slashers’ reactions to finding an Otamatone?

OK! THIS I CAN FULFILL AND DAMN HAPPY TO!!!

Note: I’m going to be focusing on the slashers that I’ve written headcanons for my slasher boyfriends; so everyone featured here is featured here! If there was or is a specific slasher you wish to have seen here my ask box is open!

SO YOU WANNA SHOW YOUR FAVORITE YOUR NEW FAVORITE TOY? MUSICAL INSTRUMENT? VEHICLE OF CHAOS?

Jason Voorhees 

Jason will be the first to admit he isn’t quite the most musically inclined person (flashback to him kicking a boombox or too) mostly resigning himself to the quiet, atmospheric nature sounds of Camp Crystal Lake. BUT! When you brought him and his mama that little 3D note shaped bundle of joy - everything has changed.

Jason was at first really confused about the otamatone, much more content watching you play all the hits! Or attempt to play all the hits.

When you weren’t looking Jason has started to fiddle with it and has almost completely learned how to play Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star with no mistakes!

His large hands do make playing a bit difficult (to say the least?) but somehow he’s kind of figured it out and just sometimes makes random sounds and seems to laugh a little with you with every random noise and musical scream of the Otamatone.

Michael Myers

Michael is actually even less musically inclined than Jason, he doesn’t even really listen to music at all (it's a bit of uncanny but we don’t judge here); so when you brought the Otamatone he legit had no clue what it was or why you had it or why you would find enjoyment out of it?

Michael did actually grow a genuine curiosity, marked by his head tilt, about the Otamatone after you (trying but kind of failing) at playing a couple songs.

You encourage him to play and at first he just seems to press, slow and deliberate, feeling it out and really listening to each note. Methodical and calculated. Dude it’s not that serious, it's a toy????

Honestly, he’s grown quite a bit of an interest in the Otamatone now! (AND HAS STOLEN IT A COUPLE TIMES WHILE YOU WEREN’T LOOKING); so you bought him his own! He is ecstatic! But, y’know, he hasn’t said it quite yet but you can tell behind his mask he is just beaming!

Freddy Krueger 

Freddy loves music! He steals a couple cassettes here, a couple CD’s there from his victims - he’s up on all the latest musical trends amongst the youngins! (note he does call them that)  HE LOVES MUSIC ESPECIALLY WHEN IT GETS UNDER YOUR SKIN A LITTLE BIT! You debated on bringing the Otamatone for him to see but you finally silenced such silly, worrisome thoughts with a “What's the worst that can happen??”; oh you sweet, sweet summer child.

Freddy was giddier than a kid at Christmas the second he laid his eyes (and claws) on that poor, innocent Otamatone. Oh the plans, oh the sinful, degenerate plans he had for this innocent Otamatone.

He is actually pretty good at playing? Like REALLY GOOD? Who knew the knife glove would not inhibit his musical capabilities with such small buttons?

He has played WAP - many, many, many, many times to the point where the second you see the Otamatone, you swiftly walk away before you can hear him serenade you on why you’ll need a bucket and a mop in a short while.

Bubba “Leatherface” Sawyer -

Bubba is a very simple man, we all know and love him for this, anything and everything can entertain him! But Bubba has never beholden such a modern wonder of joy and entertainment as the Otamatone! Bubba shares your enthusiasm and wonder of what joys your new musical contraption brings.

After watching you play, like seeing miracles being performed right in front of his very eyes, Bubba was beyond excited to play the Otamatone! To sadly be met with the fact that his hands and fingers are a bit too big for him to play as clear as you do. Poor baby burst into tears after getting too frustrated with not being able to play as clearly as you.

That became a special project between the two of you; figuring out Bubba’s special way of playing the Otamatone; and he has improved a lot alongside you.

Got a bit of blood and bits on it a couple of times? It's a bit gross but you and Bubba have gotten better at reminding him to wash his hands before handling the Otamatone! A happy Otamatone is a clean Otamatone!

Brahms Heelshire

Anything that is not *exactly* to Brahms' liking will be rejected and/or destroyed. Bringing the Otamatone is a big risk; especially with Brahms’ very distinct music and hobby choices. You can only hope Brahms has learned to be a bit more gentle with his rejections of what you try to introduce to him.

At first Brahms shows no interest in the Otamatone; a cheap, gimmick novelty. He feigned disinterest as he works in his hidden workshop but is quietly, intently listening to you fiddle with the little piece of rubber and plastic.

You think you hear the faint playings of the Otamatone through the vents and walls sometimes, finding it in places you didn't leave it. A little smile crosses your face. Brahm might like the Otamatone a *little*. Don’t push it.

Brahm has actually found new and innovative ways of using the Otamatone; such has playing it to notify his presence into a room (Otamatone first of course), or to follow and to give your steps some music, or to just  plain interrupt your bath time that you so rudely had without him.

My legion of final girl personas often end up having kids with their enemies. That they try to raise normally, in their normal lives.

Thats honestly really good. I'm imaging the amount of chaos that come from horror movies bleeding into everyday life. Like could you imagine being the teacher having a parent- teacher conference with Jason Voorhees or Pinhead? The jokes honestly write themselves.
