Realistic Cecil Stedman Heacanons

Not proofread, General headcanons, romantic headcanons at the end, NSFW AND SFW, applies to WOMEN and MEN readers! Death is mentioned

a/n: I CANNOT have enough of this guy. He’s so old, mean, grumpy, witty, hot etc etc. love love love characters like that. despite liking the fluffy and snuggly version of Cecil in fics, i just dont rlly think he’d act like that around a person he’s romantically interested in. So here’s my two cents :3 also tysmmm for liking my first Cecil post <3333 yall are so sweet ahhhh!!

GENERAL:

Cecil is hard to make realistic headcanons cuz we dont know much about him outside of work. I’m using the show to create the headcanons (the comics? I aint reading allat)

In his younger days, before becoming an agent for the government, he was definitely the bad boy next door. Like cmon that one scene with his blonde hair slicked back and wore a leather jacket. Driving in his beat up Chevy Camaro as he listens the Misfits, 80’s rock, or “divorced dad rock”.

Was in a fight club, hence why he handled a lot of hits from the force fist. Dental debts were paid off after he became an agent.

Losing his mother took a toll on him. Drank his liver off in bars, kicked of them, walked for hours in the dark streets. But when he heard gunshots and cries of a woman and a child, he ran towards the alleyway and stopped the conflict. The mother cradled her child as she watched Cecil beating the guy to a bloody pulp.

This was then he realized that he can change the world. If it wasn’t for him assisting a mom and her child, someone out there would’ve lost a wife, sister, sibling, or friend. Present Cecil thinks about that faithful event every time he felt like he was out of his mind. It was an anchor, his purpose.

I noticed that his voice his softer around Debbie (my queen). Has a soft spot for moms, women in general. His mother raised him as a gentleman, but his dad made him the hard ass people know and love.

Cecil was inspired by Nick Fury. Nick was a colonel in the army before joining the CIA and being the head of SHIELD. I can see Cecil being in the military before being an agent. Either being forced by his dad or just wanna help support his family, his mom specifically.

If you didn’t get the memo, he’s a mamas boy.

I saw some people headcanoning Cecil being born and raised somewhere in the south. Sorta see him talking in a southern accent. But lost the accent when he moved to DC. I’d pay Walton Goggins to speak in a southern accent for Cecil.

Enough of young Cecil, bring out present Cecil.

Over the years, Cecil has a few friends he trust in. Better to have real friends than a lot of fake ones who might kill you or take over the world. Ahem, Nolan… Okay, but it’ll take Cecil years to trust anyone, all of his trust. He knew how dangerous Nolan was to the world. An alien just wanting to help earth? Yeah, he had his doubts but zero evidence to back it up.

His heart broke when he saw Debbie crying over Nolan leaving her and Mark. Debbie hates his guts, however, she knows he’d bend over backwards to save the planet. One night, both of them drank and drank wine on the couch, talking about anything but Nolan. Cecil carried her in her room when she fell asleep. Recalling the day he saved the mom and the child in that alleyway.

Oh and don’t worry Cecil is strong enough to carry a person without breaking his back. One of the benefits of working for the pentagon for years. Bioengineered his body back to his golden days. Underneath that suit, he’s fit. His muscles and and are a bit saggy, but still looks good for his age. Has scars from the chemical gas in that one episode and from other missions years ago.

The dude rarely has free time. Too busy helping the world, saving it, dealing with invincible’s tantrums. Eyebrows always furrowed, his frown never leaving his face. Sigh my pookie… But give him a good American style burger with extra mayonnaise and that smile he lost decades ago will come back. If he does have time to spare, he goes the shooting range to brush up his skills, walk around the pentagon, check on up Debbie and Oliver through mics his team placed around the house, go through old photos of his mom. occasionally, RARELY, almost never!! go to tinder to find someone.

He knows that retirement is too fucking far away, but he’s human yk. On the outside, he tells everyone he doesn’t have time to be with anyone, he’s the director of the GDA goddamnit. But… he’s lonely all the time. He’s used to getting the sighs, the hate on peoples face, the conversations people have of him. He can handle that. He doesn’t give a shit of what people think. As long as it keeps the world safe, he can handle the criticism and the hate.

However, he does want to get married, but thinks it’s too late and he’s too old. No longer the good looking man he was anymore. Just an old, grumpy, and mean man. Often he thinks about coming home to loving wife. The smell of warm, delicious food, a clean and inviting house. Contrasting his dusty, barely used house. He sleeps in his private room somewhere in the pentagon.

ROMANTIC:

I bet some of you guys scrolled down to the romance, huh? It’s okay, I’d do that too ;)

As mentioned before, it’ll take Cecil years to trust anyone. But when it comes to falling in love? Yeah might as well wait till the whole universe ends. Lol joking, but again it’ll take him time to even realize that he has feelings for you. He’s surrounded with people who hate him. It’s been a while since anyone was romantically involved with him.

Young Cecil had a few relationships. All were short and sweet, but it didn’t end badly fortunately. Had a lot of hookups. And don’t worry he used a condom. Didn’t get any diseases or made anyone pregnant, guys!

But his relationships, people he trusted and spent time with, were from his work. I cannot see him being with a civilian. He doesn’t live a normal life. He met a lot of attractive people in basic training. Smooth talked his way into their hearts.

His type: someone close to his age, but the lowest is late 30’s. Cecil hates 20 yr olds. Thinks they’re still dumb kids trying to figure their shit out. He had an eye on a few hot 30 yr olds at work, but immediately suppressed his feelings. When talking about appearances, he likes someone who is fit and healthy, but he loves the personality more. He likes people who just say what they have to say. He wants the information out asap. He’s very attracted to intelligence, but has a good heart. He’s a sucker for that. But what he loves more is loyalty and someone who understands and doesnt judge him. Cecil is a morally gray character, which makes him complex. He has good intentions, but sometimes make unethical decisions.

He thinks what is best for the world, often utilizing bad guys like Sinclair or Darkwing to achieve his goal in protecting Earth. Now if you try talking to him about personal stuff at first, he’s gonna deem you suspicious. Might put you in the blacklist lol. But over the years and lots of trust built between you two, Cecil will be loyal to you and even develop feelings if during that time you try to get to know the old man.

Referencing to the jealous Cecil fic I made, he’s very possessive and holds onto the good things he has in this world. Anything good in his life will and has been taken so he tries his best to keep in his grasp as long as he can. He already lost his beloved mother, don’t leave him :( He’s monitors you through screens, listens into your conversations with your colleagues. It’s wrong, but he’s done terrible things beyond stalking.

Young Cecil had the charm to make the people around him fall in love, it’s like a James Bond situation. Present cecil still has it, but would rather just say his feelings to you. He’ll just be his same old self if you reject him. Besides, I know you wouldn’t reject such a handsome fella like him.

Cecil loves foreplay, might even take forever to get to the main event. Casual glares at you, light banter and him flirting with you is what gets him going. He likes playing with his food before sinking his teeth in. Obviously him flirting with you is private. Unprofessional for him to do that. But if you do flirt with him in front of the heroes or at work, he’ll shut you up. But if you pissed him off by not following his orders or almost injuring yourself, he’s dragging you to his office and locking the door behind him. Let’s just say that you struggled sitting down a chair the next day.

Before getting into a relationship with him, he’ll be so proper that he takes you out to dinner, if he can, and courts you like that. Donald is put in charged while Cecil spends a night with you. His left side of his brain would kill him for this, but he wants to make this right for you and actually listens to his heart for the first time in forever.

Gentleman in the streets, but a freak in the sheets. He is starved for some sweet hot and nasty sex. Of course the first time you two do it, he goes slow. Makes love to you, but in his office cuz he has a mission briefing to attend to in 10 minutes. He hates mixing work with his personal life, but this is basically his life so he does what he can and is grateful to be with you.

Cecil does have those times, more like most of the time, fucks hard. Rough, dirty, kinky sex. Like cmon he’s stressed most of the time. Despite having doctors improve on his body, his age does hinder a bit in his performance in bed. He’s embarrassed to admit but he likes it when you take over. He wants you to be happy, but damn, he just loves it when you dominant him. Only often though. He’s a control freak.

Cecil keeps on a small box with a ring inside it in his desk. Going through his head on to finally asking you the big question. With you by his side, he’ll make his day-dreams into reality. Marrying you.
