I just watched Zootopia for the first time. I have sleeping on this piece of golden media wtf.

The plot is so fire. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

The awesome message and lessons about tackling unconcious bias. Fire as fuck.

I didn't realise the film referred to predators and prey overtly (like I thought hearing people talking about it was just due to the fact the internet got its hands on it after it released, however I am to be proven wrong).

Aparently the next move comes out november this year, and one of the main characters is a snake. I am so normal about this lmao. I love snakes...

There is maybe more thoughts but I can't remember. Im off to read Nick Wilde Fanfic now though. Plz leave good recommendations x

Firstly, this is cool as fuck. Secondly, looking through, I have a few ideas of what one or two of the symbols link to. This aren't super strict themes ideas. Read it like a tarot card definition manual lol.

Open palm hand = the player

Dark droplet = death/killing/souls. I'm just very intrigued by Susie's symbols. Like Noelle's, there is definitely some sort of message in there. Maybe something about calling out the player?? (I'm not sure)

Triangle flag = Surrendering (loosely speaking). We have Papyrus surrending/deciding to not hand in Frisk; Alphys's vulnerablity surrending in the note before entering the True lab below (pointing down). Also, idk if Rudy is gonna live...

Cross bones = The end/ending. Whatever it is at the end, or is ending, Noelle definitely isn't happy about it, but is forced to experience it/do it (woah sound familiar?!? hmm..)

I still think that a key function of the way we think of the concepts "adult" and "child" is to separate the human population into "people who deserve autonomy but no protection" and "people who deserve protection but no autonomy" and in the process dehumanize both groups of people. We ignore the fact that all people need both autonomy and protection, and that our society could easily be set up to provide everyone a healthy mix of both.

I adore these IRL crossovers

I just watched the Fionna and Cake finale, and putting aside any debates about the ending, the animation was absolutely gorgeous in these episodes! I was pleased to see them keep up the fun visuals all the way to the end, especially in the Casper and Nova segments.

As I was watching those, though, I couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity.

Whimsical, unrealistically textured 3D elements?

Retro game interfaces? Where had I seen this style before?

It wasn't until I got to the credits that I realized.
