The bombing in Ahmed's area has not stopped at all today. Ahmed and his family are forced to live in a tattered tent in the street. They can't even keep dangerous wild dogs out of the place where they have to sleep. And on top of everything, his brother's injuries need treatment outside of Gaza.

In short, their lives are in danger at every moment, even if by some miracle the nearly 24/7 bombing ever pauses.

Anything you can give to Ahmed and his family, is their hope for a future where they aren't forced to fight for their lives every moment of every day. Please, don't give up on them and don't forget them!

the trope of someones eyes being covered/obscured/nonexistant often tends to symbolise someone is untrustworthy or not showing their true face or otherwise holding something back.

we can see this a lot in deltarune.

first, with susie having her eyes covered by her hair throughout all of chapter 1 signifiying how shes hiding her true kind and care behind her tough mean girl persona

next, with kris, their eyes are obscured by shadow because we as the player controling them cannot know their full feelings/personality/intentions/motive. we even first see their eyes flash when we're in the birdcage

you can even argue it apply to ralsei in chapter 1 with his hat reducing his eyes to simple dots and limiting his expressiveness (I'm not alone in thinking these are the most devestating sprites right?)

for lancer, his lack of eyes is just setup for his handsome face punchline but for his dad it might symbolise that mans own untrustworthyness? also perhaps a stretch but yknow.

in queen's case her "eyes" transparently display her thoughts so much that she has to use wordplay if she wants to lie (a certain bird will take a swin in the acid river)

tenna has no eyes. we can see he has no eyes. so?? um. what does this mean symbolicly for tenna???? I have no clue.

perhaps its showing hes blind to the current reality of the world (himself being obseliete both technalogically and to the dremmurrs)????

or lets say its to go along with the theme other main bosses having no visible eyes.... its could represent blindly following the knight's will/being blind towards the knights motives??

@aahedandfamily is a father with 3 daughters under 10 years old, and they are all trapped in Gaza as conditions worsen once again. They are vetted by association with my friend Nader @abdalsalam2000 who introduced me to them.

Do u know what's DISGUSTING? It's when you have to remove insects from the only loaf of bread you're allowed to eat each day, but to make fun of ourselves, we call these insects "free protein." And as the saying goes, when you're hungry, your mind shuts down. Now I cover my nose when eating a loaf of bread so I don't smell it, and I avoid looking at it so I don't see the insects… But that's not important, there's worse. Malnutrition is starting to affect my 6 y.old brother , as intestinal worms are eating away at her body from the inside out and destroying her health. Oh wonder! Only after 12 days of war between Israel and Iran, Trump intervened and stopped it. Wow, this is it! Israel was subjected to severe and harsh blows from Iran to the point that Israeli soldiers said on social media that they woke up and thought they were living in Gaza after the destruction that occurred in Tel Aviv. Unfortunately, Trump and the United States cannot stop a war that has lasted 628 days of genocide in Gaza.

My friend @fadel-dani and his family haven't been able to eat bread for three days!!! The famine and war in Gaza have intensified, the bombing has increased, and the blockade has tightened, with food shortages increasing daily. The price of a 50kg bag of flour has reached 500 euros. This is unacceptable. Everything is getting more difficult, and the bombing doesn't stop. They need help!!!

Even worse, Fadel was injured when their home was bombed while they were inside. Fadel was left with shrapnel from the explosion and needs urgent surgery outside Gaza. He also suffers from thalassemia and needs a monthly treatment of 400 euros, which he can't afford now. He also suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder because his previous campaign, which raised nearly 15,000 euros to enable him to undergo surgery, was deleted. Unfortunately, all donations were returned to their owners, and a new campaign was created, which collected only 11,559 euros. I hope you will help him and his family. Let us be one hand together and help Fadl undergo his surgery, buy his treatments, and provide food for him and his family. Do not ignore him, my friends, he is in dire need of us.

Sinners is an excellent horror film for many reasons, but to me the most central is that it is horror with something interesting to say and ask. The film explores the ways in which colonialism, white supremacy, and racial capitalism impact how people form relationships, build community, create art, practice spirituality, connect to history, and value other people. It also has something interesting to ask about what it means to be someone who is part of a population that is considered ontologically always dying and already dead.

As you consider these themes, I would like to ask you to extend your thoughts to Fadel. Like the fictional protagonist Sammie, Fadel is a talented, kind, young adult who has dreams for his life and enduring love for his family and community.

He is a disabled and injured Palestinian in Gaza, part of a population who much of the world reduces to their suffering and deaths, as if their early death is an inevitability. It is not. It is preventable.

He is alive right now. You can message him, check in on him, extend your love and care to him ( @fadel-dani ). He needs some money to get to a hospital resourced enough to treat his injuries after a bombing. I know you can empathize with being in pain, with health care being inaccessible and stunningly expensive. You have common humanity with him. You understand him.

Fadel is not a story. His future is not fated or scripted or set in stone. The way his life unfolds is entirely dependent on the social systems around him and the decisions of people who have resources, especially people like us who are not in active genocide, who get pay checks every couple weeks or every month.

Your decisions matter. Please help him out.

Ahmed himself was hurt by Israeli occupation before he was even born. He has a lifelong health condition that effects his bones and teeth, all because his mother was exposed to a dangerous gas weapon while pregnant.

Ahmed can't get the specialized medical treatment he needs in Gaza because of the war, but he also can't get basic necessities like food, water, or shelter, and neither can his family.
