“Kahinay sa internet. What’s wrong with the internet connection, Philippines. Philippines! Nisaka na ako dugo” said the five-year-old, Zane Akila. The girl featured above rants on Facebook using her mother’s social media account about the country poor internet connectivity problems.
Many netizens shared and reacted to the way the girl ‘adorably’ rants on Facebook. Many take it as a joke and says even toddlers now are stress about our internet connectivity here. Some even praise her for using her voice for awareness.
“I cannot study. I cannot play. I cannot go outside because there’s a virus” she added on the video. Implying she is on an online class and unable to play and go outside because we are in a pandemic.
Our team hope this will be addressed ASAP (as soon as possible). We badly need to fix our internet since everyone is working from home.

As of October 2020, our country, the Philippines, was ranked 32 in Fixed Broadband Speed in all Asia. With a 27.07 average mbps, it is no wonder the said country ranked very low. Comparing to our neighboring countries, Singapore got the first place with 229.42 mbps. Thailand came second with 183.58 mbps, South Korea followed with 162.40 mbps, China with 140.74 mbps, and Japan with 139.24 mbps, respectively.
