There has been some activity in the notes, so if you'd like some kind of a vocabulary list or something else that comes to mind, feel free to dm/ask/leave a note 🌞
I was thinking...
Should I make some kind of list with aesthetically pleasing words in Slovak? Or just some kind of list covering some kinda topic? If you have any suggestions, it would be highly appericiated

Drahý ťumblr!
Mám na vás prosbu. Potřebuju pár věcí o tradicích z východního Slovenska, region Horný Zemplín, nejlépe okres Medzilaborce (vesnice Svetlica a Zbojné).

Člověk v tísni (krizová intervence)
SOS ADRA (psycho, socio, materiální pomoc)
Diakonie ČCE (úklidy)
Červený kříž (ubytování, první pomoc)
Zdravotní zajištění (pro lidi i zvířátka)

Muzeum Tatrzańskie in Zakopane, Poland, August 2024
I love going to museums that show the traditional way of life in the region. In the Tatra Museum I saw the traditional mountain house with a white and a black room. The black one (top right photo) was the room people lived in – slept, cooked, ate, met their neighbours, worked... The white one (top left photo) was a room for special ocasions. Everything in the room had it meaning, the symbols were very important – the sycamore tree table, the white bedding, carved shelves, the prettiest dishes, the pictures of saints, the carved beam, the painted chests with festive clothing...
The other two photos show some traditional ornaments used in carving and the other decoratively carved laundry paddle and cheese moulds.
