Don't. This is dumb for four good reasons:

Text is less likely to get lost in a network hiccup than objects like notecards.

IMs can be received and replied by e-mail. While the full text can be transmitted by mail, the content of a notecard isn't, making the message impossible to read if you don't log in first.

Security issues.

This is just utterly stupid.
