His surprise was not very well concealed when the other spoke. Horace looked to the boy he had for the most part kept at an arms length this school year due to his father’s Death Eater status, now made public. In doing so, it seemed he had failed to notice that the young Malfoy had been going through some type of turmoil. Apparently it was so terrible that he could no longer keep his troubles to himself, not even if front of a man who had written him off from day one. A hint of shame twisted his gut.

“Draco,” he said quietly. “I may no longer be the Head of Slytherin, but if there is something you wish to confide in me, I will listen if you are in need of an ear.”

I’m gonna rant about something that I feel will make more of an impact on my canon blog, though I’m reblogging it on all of my blogs, feel free to read it if you want

I really hate that my OC blog gets looked over. I get followers on my canon blogs like it’s nothing but on Rachel I had to work hard and prove she wasn’t a “Mary-Sue” (fuck that word) to get the numbers that I got. I’m already well over 100 on both Horace and Colin and I’ve only had them for a very short time. Plus, I didn’t have to do shit to get there. And you want to know something else? There are plenty of people who have followed me here and on Colin that would never give Rachel a first, let alone second glance. I’ve had people automatically block me on Rachel but follow first on either of my canons. So what? I’m only a good writer when I’m using a canon character? Rachel isn’t good enough for you? All OCs are automatically bullshit? Whatever your reason, I don’t want to hear it. I don’t have time for people who are negative towards original characters just because they’re original characters.That’s judgmental as hell and I’m not about that life. So, if you think that way, I would appreciate if you would unfollow me now. This isn’t supposed to be a means to get everyone to go follow my other blog or anything, it’s just me venting about how the followers flood in whenever I play a canon character, especially a guy, and very rarely do those same people even look past my OCs, especially a girl, simply because they are original characters.
