reposting (and adding to) my own twt rambles about rosamiko because i think other ppl should start thinking abt them!!!

sometimes rosaria wishes they had never met while miko wishes they had met centuries before

sometimes their emotions spill and it feels feels limitless but it stops and it all just almost breaks apart. its fascination and warmth and sometimes desire.

rosaria realises that she’s weakened only when she’s not by miko’s side and at first she considers casting it all away so she won’t hurt again. but there’s a warmth in her that whispers gentle things, of love and a hope that maybe it can last, and even that if it didn’t, that maybe she would still be all the better for it having existed in the first place. she still makes mistakes sometimes but she knows to get better, if not for herself but for miko. 

miko mourns that she’ll never fully understand rosaria but vows to herself to love her as much as she can. at first she more than succeeds in this goal, showering rosaria with affection, but as the months go by and the thought that rosaria one day will pass on before she does starts to set in, her affections start to only trickle. and it feels like she can only watch herself try to distance herself from the woman that she loves. she writes their story in a little book she keeps hidden away during the day.
