For those of you who are up and are in the new year, and for those still awaiting it, let’s enjoy a little music. As a side bit of trivia, this piece of music is the only game music track that I am aware of that was ever written specifically for New Year’s Day. It’s activated in Christmas NiGHTS when your Sega Saturn’s internal clock shows the date as January 1st. It’s short and a little repetitive, but this rendition of Beethoven’s Ninth is a part of gaming history.
