but!! i wanna at least post SOMETHING so i won't miss it entirely until i can catch up so here's one of the concept sketches i did for the day 1 prompt. i'm not sure if i'll be going with this one for the final piece since the poses are almost identical to one i drew 2023 but i do like it enough to share it like this!

Sorry for being a Gamzee sympathizer LOL. I don’t want to get into it but I have qualms with his characterization. In buggy troll au nobody kills anyone else; Gamzee’s under a lot of pressure to conform to the accepted violence of highbloods, though he doesn’t want to hurt anybody. I’d think the main cast of trolls would look after him as a community rather than relegating the task to any one troll. But before that, when he was just exiled from Alternia, he chose to join the church for a while. It wasn't good for him : (
