“The Streets of San Francisco” ran from 1972–1977, starring Karl Malden and a young Michael Douglas as a classic veteran/rookie detective duo. Classic weird 70s tv, and the perfect soundtrack for Madlib to pull from. Specifically from the episode River of Fear (Season 3, Ep 20) — which then ended up on Madvillain tracks like “All Caps” and “Great Day.” Crazy work.
